This is indeed a hotel that exceeded expectations. Maybe because there are not many rooms, I can't see any Chinese reviews on *********** and Ctrip. However, the environment is so good that I don't want to check out. I recommend that everyone who comes to Morelia to celebrate the Day of the Dead and want to experience a night tour should stay here the day before, check out at 12 o'clock, store your luggage, and then go to participate in the afternoon and night activities. It's so comfortable!

We had a great stay. Very private. Felt safe with the gates being locked and nobody can’t enter without calling the front desk.

The property is far from Morelia which was inconvenient for me I had to take a 20 min taxi every time. Also the solar water heating is unstable you have to be careful while taking a hot shower or you run the risk of being burnt while in the shower.

The room was completely different from what was advertised. It looked like a cave carved into the side of a hill, converted into a room. Mosquitos were terrible. We had to fumigate the room ourselves, killed mosquitos (an amount never seen anywhere else at other hotels), ants, and other bugs. Cockroaches were also found in the room. The water pressure in the shower was terrible, shower head was clogged. Spent two nights there out of three. There was no AC, no windows to open and let air in. I have never stayed in a room like the one assigned to us, labeled as pet friendly. The only thing I noticed that possibly made this room pet friendly was the absence of floor mats. After complaining we were moved to a suite. Now, this looked a lot better but just old looking and in need of repair. We didn't mind that. The shower didn't drain properly, the water took a long time to drain.
