Only short stay - overnight for attending our friends’ wedding in Carnforth. Good location which is only 5 mins walk to the beach! Lucky, markets were on the promenade! Easy to access around the town. Easy to park the car. The room was clean and comfortable. Fan provided! Importantly, the tv has subtitles which is good for Deaf people. Travelodge has provided us fire alarm systems! If return to Morecambe, I would stay s as Travelodge.

Perfect retreat lodge was spacious very clean and had everything needed comfy bed and quiet with great views of lake would definitely stay again staff were very helpful great location great stay

We had just one night at this hotel. It is beautifully refurbished, including our bedroom. Staff were lovely and the breakfast excellent. However, the bed in our room was a standard 4 foot 6 inches. We had asked for a superior room. It was only when we queried the size of the bed that we were told all beds, even in suites, were this standard size. There are twin rooms, we discovered, but all booked when we asked for a possible change of room. Our room was minuscule and awkward to move around in. There was hardly room to change for our night out. A deep wardrobe made negotiating the route to the bathroom hazardous in the middle of the night. The one upright chair, when in use, prevented access to the window and one side of the bed. In contrast the bathroom was roomy, the shower very good. The hotel is in a perfect location and the car parking not too difficult although had we had luggage for a week rather than a night that would have been an issue, not only because of he walk from the car park but because the nearest bedrooms are on the second floor and the lift, an interesting antique, did not work in the time we were there. We shall need to stay in Lancaster again and would use the Royal Kings Arms if we could book a suitable room.

Visited on Monday 29th May 23 We have been coming to The Royal for many many years. Absolutely live the bar and seating outside as I have 2 small dogs.. We brought my Son & wife out fir a treat. Ordered 4 drinks and 4 flatbread meals. 2 chicken & 2 hallomi.. Thay came and was a tortilla with a few leaves and 4 *****s of chicken & hallomi. Basically just a wrap for £14 .. no side dish, chios, salad nothing, we went home & made tea We were starving.. Waisted £80

We are members and have stayed at this resort several times over the last few years and have always had 1 or 2 bed apartments to accommodate family members. This was only for a 2 night stop over after visiting friends but we could have stayed longer as we were in a very spacious studio apartment with a complete kitchen that included a full size oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. It was a very hot weekend and there is no air con but our apartment was shaded by surrounding trees which helped reduce the heat. We were advised on check in that we could have a fan if requested but we had bought one with us so didn't bother. The restaurant and bar had just opened the night before we arrived but we didn't visit as we'd come prepared to self cater after 2 previous visits when it was closed.

First time back at this splendid hotel since my daughter had her wedding there 10 years ago which I have to say was amazing, but I have to say it’s not looking as good as it was, I feel it’s looking a little tired in places some of the furniture in the lounges is looking past it’s best and grubby, our room was nice though, clean and comfortable, our evening meal was good but breakfast could of been better the food had obviously been cooked well before we went to breakfast, the staff were very pleasant, I just hope the owners don’t let it slip too bad it would be such a shame

The restaurant has a comfortable environment and a large room. The toilet has a bathtub and a tank, which is very comfortable. But there is no air-conditioning in the room, so we have to open the window frequently, but every time there are a lot of small insects coming in, such as bees and spiders. There is also a restaurant on the ground floor of Sadian. The food quality is of a high standard. If you don’t want to eat in the city center, you can consider trying it here. In terms of cleanliness, I hope that the restaurant can improve a little bit. Cobwebs were also found in the corners of the room and toilet, and the cleaning staff was notified, and they cleaned it up quickly. The staff at Sadian are very friendly and efficient, and overall they are very satisfied with the service provided by Sadian.
