The Inn at Shady Pines

After we left on Monday June 22, following a two night stay on Tuesday June 23, there was a charge of 500.00 pending on my CC phones the property as I had already paid for the room. Accused us of smoking in the room which we absolutely did not. My friends son is a heart transplant recipient two years out, is on oxygen at night for sleep apnea who in their right mind would smoke 🤦‍♀️ His mom does smoke however, always outside with door closed and putting butts put in a cup with water. Ridiculous, room charge was expensive. Have never had an experience like this ever, will definitely not be staying here AGAIN.

Very clean and efficient. Furniture was comfortable and new.

Loved it! Easy to find, easy parking, easy to get in, great price. I loved the vibe in the room! Water pressure was awesome. Plenty of kitchen type utensils. Cleaning person was super nice. Would stay again!

This place is a hidden gem. Cheap and really nice inside. Will definitely stay again. It was really clean and cozy to stay at. Easy in and out.

We loved everything about this spot. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors but that's the only real bad thing I have to say. Everything else was wonderful from cleanliness to comfort

Disappointing. The smell from the bathroom was probably sewer gas. When we turned on the tub rust came out. Cobwebs & smashed bugs on the walls. Tiny sink so water goes everywhere. No place to put your bath stuff. Cheap soap pumps, so they don’t work. It has potential but needs more attention. New paint & fixtures and remodeled bath but just not well-kept. The mini kitchen is nice. Easy parking.

The room was really nice and clean. It looks like it was recently renovated. There was a good amount of kitchen supplies like coffee cups, plates, and glasses. I loved the remote check in and check out. It made it simple to check in and check out with two dogs in tow.

Good sized room with King Bed. Clean with modern fixtures. Walls were thin so conversation in next door rooms made sleep difficult. Traffic noise was also a concern. Good location.

This is the first time we’ve stayed here on our trips to the UP. The room is nicely updated, it looks almost brand new. Very comfortable beds, lots of towels. Great in every way.
