The hotel location is lovely, very close to the golf courses and a nice short wander to the beach. Very quiet and peaceful with plenty of places to sit both inside and outside. Room was very clean and nicely furnished, bathroom has a good shower and complimentary shampoo and shower gel. It’s all very well appointed with a little kettle and hairdryer also included for use. The only minor was pillows being harder than desired (we didn’t complain or ask for alternatives as frankly it’s a very minor problem which didn’t stop a good night sleep), for anyone fussy perhaps worth asking for softer. The bar was well stocked with options and breakfast is pre-ordered but is very nice, being of a greedy disposition I would have liked more! Recommend staying if in Montrose, especially good location for visiting local attractions.
