Fairmont Le Montreux Palace

The hotel is truly beautiful, the most beautiful and luxurious hotel on the shores of Lake Geneva. I booked the signature lake-view room, and I could feel the hotel's ambiance and service were excellent. I was very satisfied.

A beautiful hotel, but unfortunately we were given a lake-view room on the first floor, and the view wasn't as stunning as I'd imagined. The breakfast was quite good. The beds in the room were rather small, and the soundproofing was so-so. All rooms were connecting rooms. There's a long downhill slope from the train station to the hotel, which was a bit tiring dragging large suitcases, but it's still a relatively close location. The hotel provides a transportation card, which is very convenient for getting around. There's a bus stop across the street that goes to Chillon Castle. Overall, I'd recommend it.

Overall, it was alright. The service was a little slow.

The location is superb, right next to the lake, and it's probably the most luxurious running route in the world. There happened to be a jazz rehearsal across the street, and I snuck into one last time. Perfect!
