Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Montreal Reviews

Front desk, breakfast crew and housekeeping were great. Unfortunately my husband was eaten alive by BED BUGS!! Housekeeping came to inspect the bed and found it on the bed and the pillow. I was fairly calm at the time because I was just in shock and just wanted to leave to wipe all our belongings down, but when Hotel manager didn't call us the next day as promised by the front desk manager I felt really disregarded as a paying customer. We had to call them back and after going back and forth they refuse to give us a refund! Our vacation was cut short because we had to go straight home to wash our belongings worried that an infestation might occur from our drive back to Pickering from Montreal. The drive home was very uncomfortable for my husband, my daughter is traumatized and I was just overall disgusted!! When we got home we had to ***** down in our backyard and left all our belongings outdoors for 2 days just to make sure we didn't bring anything in. We then had to wash everything in hot water which lead to some of our clothes shrinking. It is now 4 days since the incident occurred and still no satisfactory resolution! We will NEVER stay at another Ramada again.

The sink at the bathroom needs to be overhauled. Asides that the hotel is strategically located and has every amenity needed to ensure a comfortable stay.

Standard for the price. Stay was good, bed was comfortable but room was too small. Breakfast could be made better with more options, not just eggs as the main protein. Over all, it was a good stay for that price.

Not much satisfied with my stay as there were no bathrobes , no slippers, no water , and room light was very bad and dim. We asked for another room but it was also very dark. There was no parking , receptionist said to park on the street. Very disappointed, not too much breakfast options, spend a lot of money but not worth it.

My husband and I stayed at the Ramada for 4 nights. Parking was an additional $10 per day, we were lucky to get a parking spot 3 out of the 4 nights here. On the fourth night there was a hotel party in the room on the first floor and all the people in there parked their cars free of charge taking up all the paying customers spots. We all had to park down the street at the Marriott. I will not be staying here ever again and I will be telling everyone I know who frequent Montreal not to stay here. If those people at the party didn’t have to pay for parking then why should we have to pay? Absolutely absurd.

Stay was nice and hotel is in a prime location in downtown Montreal!

It’s good but not satisfying actually they charge for parking my previous visit in Montreal but n other hotels they didn’t charge for parking anyway it’s good experience

I was a little worried when booking because of the low ratings. After checking in, I found that it was actually a rather old hotel with old room facilities. There was indeed a smell when I entered. The room was very large. In the middle of the night, the alarm in the room next door kept sounding, making it impossible to fall asleep. After communicating with the front desk, it was resolved in about 10 minutes. The breakfast was Western style, scrambled eggs with bread and milk. It was very ordinary and filling but uninspired. Parking cost 10 Canadian dollars plus an additional 15% tax, which was barely acceptable for a one-night stay.

A poor accommodation experience. The overall environment is average, the room is small, the access control is sometimes good and sometimes bad, and finally I was given a key. The bathroom ventilation is very poor, and the breakfast is also poor. I don't recommend staying here.
