My husband enjoyed our short stay at the beautiful Borgo San Luigi while on our tour of Italy and found their hospitality to be the upmost professionalism we’ve experienced in our travels. First off, My husband and I are major food eaters, My Husband is Gluten free and this hotel has many many options of foods to accommodate to him in every way shape and form from snacks to delicious gluten free dinners. We spent a full day at the resort as well as a full day touring around on a vespa they found for us to rent (had it delivered to the hotel for us!). We can confidently say the food at the resort was by far the best. The beautiful architecture of the hotel and landscape was so well kept we could not stop staring at it as well. One of the waiters, I believe named Fransisco, was able to accommodate a lunch for my husband that he could not stop talking about how delicious it was. He was craving something not on the menu and Francisco made it happen. Every need of ours was fulfilled by the employees, even a drive to the train station on our departure, so kind! We could not have asked for a better stay. 10/10 & 5 stars and we recommend this hotel to everyone that is thinking about staying around this area. It offers a wonderful panorama of the surrounding countryside with fields, olive groves, vineyards and woodlands. The gardens and the swimming pool are set inside the olive grove next to the farmhouse. The house is divided into three apartments, one of which is rented year round and the other occupied by the owner and his wife and sons.Private entrance to the apartment is into the open plan living/dining room with one wall occupied by the modern kitchen which is fully equipped with gas range, electric oven, fridge with freezer, washing machine, American Coffee machine and tea kettle.
