Really enjoyed my stay here. The location is everything!! Pros: 15-30 min walk from Doc Cave’s Beach , M’garitaville, One Man Beach, and Harmony Beach Park I opted for the private room with dbl bed. Room was quite comfortable. Maria, one of the most friendly souls on the planet, checked me in and offered lots of suggestions on things to do and see in the area. Hi’Lo supermarket at corner of hostel for all your necessities. Just a Couple of suggestions to the manager: when the bathroom is shared, and when one of the 2 toilets aren’t in working order, that needs to be repaired as quickly as possible. Also couldn’t hurt to wipe down the walls and bathroom doors every now and then. Stains show badly on white paint. Would definitely stay here again. Staying here, You will save tons of money to spend on nice restaurants and activities, which was the whole point of vacationing with a local flare. This place is old and needs a complete renovation. My room was changed to one worse than what I had. There was dirt on the floor as you entered the room and there was hair on the floor in the bathroom and the tub was disgusting.

We have stayed nearly a week in the holiday inn resort montego bay in jamaica and we were very happy when we left. First of all, we has to say, the resort itself has a very very beautiful beach, calm ocean, what is good for kids, and the gardens/surroundings are nice as well. So we give it the 2 points. But that is almost all what is good about this place. Here is a list of things we did not like about our stay: - Before our arrival we emailed to the resort a few times (about 3 weeks before arrival date) because we had some questions about our stay, all our emails remained unresponded - upon arrival nobody welcome me as IHG diamond member - upon arrival i did not received my IHG welcome points, i had to asked 2, 3 times the following days - Upon check in we got a room, what was told to us, it would be a room upgrade. The room was horrible and we did not like the view. So we asked for another room (by phone). We were told, a bellman will come and pick our lagguage and bring us to another room. But the bellman did never appear, so we had after 12hrs. of flight, with 2 small kids, to carry our things by ourselves back to reception - after beeing in new room, we could not close the balcony door, it was broken, the maintenance we had to call twice until finally somebody came - there is a safe in room but no instruction, we had again to call some technician to explain this to us - there is a huge fridge in room, but no possibility of bringing drinks to room, only by purchase from store, what is non sense in an all inclusive resort - we got told upon check in, we can use vip club for eat and drink, when we arrived there, they told us, kids are not allowed in there, so we had to search another place to eat, nobody inform us about that policy, we were tired and just want to eat sth fast. by the way at this time we were only guest in that vip club, who would we bother then? - many times in restaurant the soft drink machine runs out of all soft drinks, so we has to drink from 1,5L plastic bottles and share them also with other guests. Assistant manager told us, it is because they ran out of Co2 so they are not able to run the soda machines. Surprisingly the soda machines worked few steps away from the restaurant, at barefoot (pool bar). - For drinks everywhere (also at lunch and dinner) they use old looking plastic cups. The plastic cups they wash so quickly, they still smell from other customers, awful. Not hygienic. - staff who deal with food in restaurant or at the bars are not wearing any gloves, they touch dishes or sometimes also food directly with bare hands, very unhygenic!!! (see picture) - some food you see every day, it looks like from 3 days ago and just heated up. It is like „for the guests just the rests“ theme - there are all day and evening some plates from other guest with remaining food in the hallway, very unhygenic and looking not very tasty (see pictures) - all corridors are also full of sacks with used blankets, feels

Jewel Grande is a hidden gem in Montego Bay Jamaica. The location to the airport is convenient especially with little kids since it’s close to the airport. The rooms are so spacious and clean and the balcony overlooking the ocean is amazing. The grounds is spectacular, well kept and clean! We felt safe on property. The staff was all very kind and helpful. The food here was a surprise to us and was very good!! It is a quieter resort and wished for some more activities to be coordinated on the beach. The one day they had beach Olympics it was so fun! The yoga in the morning is great! But that was the only day anything took place for the week we were there. The pools are definitely cold. We are from the Midwest so can handle cold and kids still swam everyday. But it would be nice if they would warm them up. Overall our stay was amazing and we had a great time. But I’d definitely a quieter resort which was what we were looking for.

Best place to stay in Jamaica. The service and good exceptional. Great staff that’s friendly and professional. This was my best anniversary ever. Thanks to the great staff at Hyatt Ziva. I appreciate all of you so much. Much love and respect.

Britania is an absolute gem in the gaming World! She has exceeded my expectations in every way,the passion and dedicaction shine through her in every aspect.I am truly impressed with her,the service she gave was like no other.She consistently gone above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction are met for example she would ask if I wanted anything to drink even though that's not her job detail or she would get me and my family popcorn whenever it is move night.Her patience and understanding have made even the most complex tasks effortless especially when dealing with the children you can see that she genuinely loves them however I think more resources would be great for the game world like more games and such but over all it's a nice hotel but the games room is where I spend most of my time my trip was amazing food was great housekeeping is amazing g room always smells good 10/10.
