Holiday Inn Express & Suites MONCTON by IHG

Room was very expensive for the price I paid was not impressed with the jacuzzi tub. Water when filling tub there was a black film. There were no robes in the room. For being an executive suite with jacuzzi tub there should have been robes. The breakfast was nothing get excited about. When I booked the room, it said there was a breakfast for two adults. I assume this was going to be a meal of some sort at a restaurant and all it was was a bunch of continental breakfast that was mostly cold and picked through by a bunch of younger kids for $620. There should have been a half decent hot breakfast.

This is a fantastic staging hotel for doing the Hopewell Rocks, and visiting the town of Alma (a must do!). The hotel is very new, the water bottle filling station by the front desk was put to much use, the rooms are great and the breakfast was very good. The front desk staff went out of their way to get us our room when we arrived two hours early for check-in, making our two days there start off great.

Hotel is right off the highway and the area has several hotels nearby. It is one of the newer hotels in the area. The room had a fridge, coffee maker and a microwave so you can make yourself a little snack. Pillows were comfy as was the bed. I had a late check-in and was driving all day so was hoping to sleep in a little later than usual. But at 9:30am the cleaners started with their vacuuming in the hallway and it was loud. Really don’t understand why you need to start so early. Other than the noise everything else was perfect. Hopefully this is a one off and not done on a regular basis.

Convenient location. The kids had a good time here. Overall good experience and likely book again
