I would recommend this place I had a fabulous holiday with 2 friends I was very worried to visit after reading horrendous reviews the only thing it needs is a bit of updating due to being an older hotel I found everyone very friendly from the entertainment team to the waiters they make the effort to come and chat to you and help with anything you need. Shout out to mondair, chibet, nadem, yahlia, mansour and the henna guy who I forgot his name they all made our holiday. We went quad biking which was fantastic. We had a room with a sea view which also over looked the pool which was fantastic we got to see a lightning storm one night. I love that the hotel is right on the beach. I liked the fact there was a seperate toilet from the bathroom it does need a bit of updating but adequate and clean the cleaners were great very friendly and no issues they cleaned everyday.The only issue I found with the room really is there needs to be more plug sockets. Around the hotel there are plant beds but with no plants or flowers along the halls this would look so nice if they had real or even fake flowers/greenery it would make it look more classy. The palm trees outside would look amazing if they were lit up it would make the outside nicer and some lights along the bridge as I found that quite dark. There was one thing I found a bit crap with the all inclusive is that there is only really beer available and the cups are very small plastic ones not had that before usually there is a better choice of drinks. That being said it made me drink better and not be so dehydrated. At food times we was treated very well by the staff the food wasn’t the usual not much in the way of English however it was very nice you do need to watch out for rude specific nationalities with not many manners taking platefuls of food then wasting it all and making a huge mess felt sorry for the staff having to clean up after those people.

Dar Antonia is located in the Sousse Medina ; a wonderful Tunisian palace, converted into a boutique hotel. It only has a few rooms, hence not a lot of staff and it may be difficult to find someone at times. The place oozes charm, but comes with some practical disadvantages : lots of stairs to get anywhere, open bathroom, open toilet, noise from other rooms, etc It has a very upmarket (= expensive) restaurant, where a sensational fresh breakfast is served. A great rooftop space with a ”pool”, but it is the size of a spa ; a superb place to have a drink, but it proved to be hard to order any, as they have to come from the restaurant, two floors down (by stairs). Overall, Dar Antonia is your best choice if you like authentic charm and are prepared to put up with the impracticalities that are inherent to an old building.

Highly recommended. It is located on the street that leads to the medina. Very central. It is a hostel, clean, minimal, unpretentious but very cheap. The furnishings could be a little more refined but it's still fine. We stayed two nights. Friendly reception staff. Does not accept credit card.

The hotel is close to the train station and the old town, with convenient transportation. Staff service is good. The room is spacious, but the facilities are average, which is significantly different from the five-star standard. The room facilities are four-star at most. The water is not smooth, the towels are old, and the sound insulation is not very good. But the price is cheap.

Everything inside the hotel was amazing. Special thanks to Salem from the Housekeeping for being creative in his job. Be careful with the big guys at the front gates in black trousers and white shirts. No tipps everytime you get in and out the hotel with your car leads to: -No parking spot inside (you have to park at least 300 meters away). -A disrespectful body language everytime you get in and out the hotel. I don't know if it's the hotel policy or that they just want to make extra money for doing the job they get paid for. We felt extremely intimidated and unwelcomed. It's the reason for the missing star. (the night shift of 03/06/2023 around 10 pm) Exept that there is nothing to complain about.

As a coastal tourist city in Tunisia, Sousse has low consumption. The hotel has free parking. There are police and security personnel at the entrance, and it feels like it is being guarded by layers. The hotel has a private beach, booked sea view rooms, directly facing the sea. But the room facilities are old. The hotel has three meals, and the buffet has many varieties, which is very good. Many elderly people in Europe come to live for a few months and feel like a European nursing home.

Is it good ? Is it bad ...hard to say ... many things need improvement... me personally rating this hotel 4 because of few nice staff In the hotel and amazing beach with beautiful sand( however beach was full of cigarette ends plastics and even glass) ...cleaniness needs definitely improvement...room cleaning is less than basic .. I don't even understand if they clean or not, as the same dirt was there since we moved on ... water in sinks not going down ( back on the days inwas working myself in 4 star all inclusiveand my room i had as staff was more functionaland clean when inarrive )....fridge inside but empty in our arrival, not even a bottle of water... however, big bonus they let us in the room 2 hours earlier and the receptionist was very pleasant. More to the room are dirty courtains ..the toilet some sort of public toilet 😅 Comment for the management: Please remove this red dirty carpet. It is a first impression when you walk in your room...itvwoukd be better even if they had tarmac stead of this filthy carpet ... Elevators are barely working ... missing buttons in them ... in one of them, the number 4 is the ground floor 🤣 Some bar staff make you proper espresso coffee from the LaCimbali machene other give you instant coffee instead ... I think there was just lazy... I was only able to get normal coffee once in 7 days ....beach bar mostly always huge que hard to get a drink tonthe point you want to abandoned the que ... and is not because he is extremely busy but because nobody there... animation activities are good enought and plenty of games as well, snacks on the beach big bonus as well... even that I eat mostly chips ... which were never crispy...in general the food was below 3 stars as quality ... when you walk the buffet, you see a huge option ... but technically, it is the same food in different trays with different sauces. I didn't personally appreciate ...the cheese is either some sort of vegan cheese or made of powder it feels like eating washing powder 😵‍💫 Aleksandr and the guys outside in dinner was spotless big respect to them all, especially Aleksand. The guy got eye for detail .But I general I was pleased with everyone as everyone was very nice personalities . Pool area very beautiful as well but I always prefer the beach as it was only few meters away from the hotel which is another big plus of course ....up and down the hotel is 4 star if you don't look on dirt everywhere... is very dirty I been in motels, which are much cleaner, honestly

Wonderful from start to finish! I could not recommend this hotel more. For me, it was the hotel team. The hotel community went out of their way to connect with others and genuinely seemed to care. They showed pride in customer service and expressed that they take their five-star reputation seriously. The room standard was amazing. Due to rooms being fully booked over Christmas, I needed to switch hotels for the main Christmas days. I switched to the biggest and supposedly most “ luxury “ hotel in Sousse. Honestly, the switch was not worthwhile. I realized just how exceptional the quality is at the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay. The housekeeping team visited daily providing toiletries, clean bathrobes and nice extras ( such as sweets and chocolates) to the room. Their friendly faces with their cheerful banter were a pleasure to embrace each day. The food quality was great! I do not consume meat or dairy but that didn’t make a difference, there truly is something for everyone. The fresh food selection was incredible and certainly unbeatable to those I had tried elsewhere in Sousse and Tunis. The cooks shared helpful recommendations and I tried a range of fresh local flavours. This hotel was comfortable, with a cheerful friendly team and positioned with an exceptional view of a gorgeous quiet beach. I would happily stay again, and I highly recommend the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay. I would like to extend a huge thank you to the remarkable team.
