Bowen Motel

The hotel provides earplugs due to the highway location, but we were waken up by the heavy footsteps from upstairs before 6am. The floor makes very loud cracking sound. The coffee machine wasn't working. We tried three Starbucks capsules and none worked (yes we pressed the handle firmly as instructed). Other than these two things there is no complaint.

Great location making it easy to walk to many stores and restaurants. Laundry mat located right around the corner was a plus. The room had 3 beds so lost of space for everyone. Most of the rooms you can back you car right up to which is always a convenience.

Great stay beds were a bit hard. Had no parking on the far side were we were staying because people parked there going to the cafe and had to park on complete other side. Management were great and helped to resolve it. Needs to have a sign to only park there if you staying there on that side. Still good place to stay.

Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. It is within walking distance to all kinds of stores and restaurants. Definitely will stay again.

The hotel is great, staff very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the location on Main St. is a little loud at night - which the hotel nicely acknowledges with a little offering of earplugs and some decaf tea in the room. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend for the great location

Bowen is always a good economical choice, well priced for whatever time of year. Clean, basic, good location.

We stayed here for a extended weekend, it was clean and the pillows were insanely comfortable! We loved the location we were able to walk to local breakfast and dinner places every day. The manager was very helpful and friendly! Housekeeping staff was courteous and respectful. We highly recommend!

I paid in full through ******* for 3 nights at the Bowen. A week prior to our arrival I contacted a serious case of COVID that left me incapacitated for two weeks. Even though our payment was nonrefundable, I contacted both ******* and the Bowen asking for their consideration given my circumstances. ******* explained it would be up to the discretion of the Bowan Motel to determine a refund or negotiate a credit. The Bowen refused any kind of compensation or consideration. I believe any guest faced with a similar and unfortunate situation would appreciate the establishments consideration. There were numerous ways to reach a fair and equitable solution to this situation but they chose not to. According to ******* it was within their purview to do so. It is apparent from the two calls from their front desk there was demand to re-sell the room thereby doubling the benefit to the Bowen Motel. In the end, we are extremely displeased with the unwillingness to be accommodating in these challenging times and letting avarice prevail over fairness. Buyer beware!

Great location in Moab. We had a room with 3 beds and it was a great size for our teenager to have a little extra space. Would definitely stay here again!
