Hotels with Gym and Fitness Centre in Miramar Beach

We spent 5 nights the week of Labor Day. We have been here many times, but this was the year of the broken room. We stayed in room 1308. We had a great view of the beach, the room was clean, and the housekeeping staff was excellent. The room safe didn’t work when we arrived. It seems that no matter how expensive the accommodation, the guests always do the quality control on the room safes. Fortunately, it was promptly fixed. Then the television broke. Never stayed in a hotel room where the TV just working. Fortunately it was fixed within a day. The hotel doesn’t provide an iron and an ironing board. So when the steamer that is provided instead of an iron quit working, the hotel provided an iron. Since there was no ironing board, my wife had to put a towel over the desk and use that as an ironing board. The room keys quit working multiple times which required a trip to the front desk to have them reset. At one point, we did have HBO, then it just stopped. Of course, when you call the front desk to inquire about HBO, they don’t know anything about it and can’t tell you anything. The location is great, and there is plenty of self parking available. On the bright side, Jennifer at the Sandcastles bar is a great mixologist. She can customize a cocktail to your liking. Jose in the Sandcastles dining room, was excellent. The first glass of red wine that I ordered at dinner was from a bottle that had been open too long. Jose generously opened a new bottle and brought me another glass. In the past, this has been a great place to stay. However, the rooms are looking a little bit long in the tooth and in need of renovation.

Sandestin resort is our favorite vacation spot! We especially love the marina. Ed and his staff at the dock tool excellent care of us! They have overnight kayak storage also, we took advantage of. I love the marina bar and Grill. They’re happy hour and fresh catch is the best deal around! Looking forward to going back!

I really appreciated the light and airy feel of the inside of the hotel. A central skylight runs the length of the ”courtyard” style open center space that houses the restaurant, bar and other common areas. The room, while generous and clean, was on the dark side. This may have been because of the first floor location; a higher floor may be better. The Hilton app presents this hotel as ”having a beach”. Technically, this is correct, but said beach is across the street, across a parking lot and across an access bridge. I estimate it is a good 900 ft/300m walk. Important to know if mobility impaired or trying to get little kids, cooler and equipment to the beach.

We have stayed in Hilton Garden Inns from Key West to Miramar Beach, and are very happy with them. The rooms are nicely designed and decorated. Since this one was almost full, we got an accessible room that had inadequate lighting. Ramsey solved that problem personally and quickly. Breakfast was ”order by menu”, and not cheap, but very well done. We enjoyed our server Dory. She was polite and efficient - we couldn't ask for better.

With small kitchen (complete), the place smells good and looks clean, is less than 2 miles away from the beach and the outlet. They have free parking and friendly staff. Sandestin seemed to be less crowded than Destin

Clean hotel, bed was comfortable. No complaints about the room. The pool was nice, definitely more suitable for the kids since the deepest part was 5 ft but most the pool was only 3ft. Friendly staff, only downfall was the elevator. Only one working and it was very slow. Would stay again.
