My son and I stayed here for 6 nights 7/2-7/8 for a national fencing tournament at the convention center. Agatha at the front desk was stellar. She was welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Also, Adam in the Living Room bar (lobby bar) was very good too. He knew my drink, remembered my name and was good with conversation. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. W does a great job with interior design and this hotel is the perfect mix of original Art Deco design and modern interior. Common areas are sleek, and lighting is interesting. I did not like the lack of good lighting in the elevator, as I always had to use my phone to light up the floor numbers. We stayed on the 16th floor in a 2-queen room. The room was very clean, small, and there is minimal storage, Beds and linens are comfortable. If you are staying for more than a couple days and want to unpack, there is only a small, 2 drawer unit that does not hold much. The bathroom is large and well appointed, and the bath products smell amazing. My issue is the rain shower mounted overhead, rather than a wall mounted shower head. As a woman who does not wash her hair every day, I struggled to keep my hair dry and had to do the in and out dance as the water fell from above. My son did not like it either. This type of shower is not as satisfying as a wall mounted shower head that blasts you. I also wish that the room had a regular coffee maker rather than an espresso machine. with tiny cups. There is free coffee in the lobby, but who wants to go down 16 floors for a cup of coffee, and have to return to your room? There is a diner called Keys, attached to the hotel that is really good for breakfast and lunch. The observation deck at the top of the building is great too. I had drinks with friends in the lobby bar, the Living Room, and we all enjoyed the cool, comfortable space and good service. Interestingly enough, we got to watch a pimp with 2 ladies of the evening do business with a man sitting at the bar. This very intoxicated, elderly man left arm in arm with 2 young, scantily clad 'ladies'. No one who worked there seemed at all concerned, or for that matter surprised. Overall, I liked this hotel, I liked the staff, but the room fell a little short for me on size, functionality and that silly rain shower.

I actually got there later than I should have and was still able to get a room. They're very accommodating very friendly and I would definitely stay there again. There was great parking, even a good breakfast when most places aren't offering that right now. I definitely enjoyed my stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE BY HOTEL MANAGEMENT. BEWARE OF ATTACHED MARRIOTT PARKING” PARKING GARAGE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING SOMEWHERE ELSE. Stayed here the past week with my Nephew celebrating his high school graduation. We had a fantastic time in the city and were a quick walking distance to Target Field and the Target Center. The Twins were in town all week so we attended three of their games. We also went to the Vikings preseason game vs the Raiders, which was also within walking distance. Tonight we went to the Lynx game at the Target Center vs the Mystics. BEWARE if parking in the attached parking garage! The one plastered with all the signs that say “Marriott Parking.” Apparently they aren’t affiliated with the garage. I was told tonight by the manager that their contract ended 4 months ago. I guess that is not enough time for the garage OR the Marriott to take down all of the signs saying “Marriott Parking.” I guess it also isn’t enough time for the Marriott to train their front desk staff on the fact that they should no longer instruct guests to park there anymore since the contract for the affiliation no longer exists. I can’t help but feel like it's a flat out lie. If your affiliation with another business ended FOUR MONTHS ago, then either party would have ensured by now that all signs advertising the affiliation would be taken down. I have been grossly overcharged multiple times during our stay for parking in the attached garage. The Marriott manager wants no part of helping me, accepts no responsibility for me being told to park there, and offered absolutely no assistance in helping me contact the garage or secure a refund for the overcharges. The front desk attendant I first spoke to about it called “the manager” who was allegedly in his car driving on his way home. He made some incorrect statements to “the manager” and neglected to correct himself when I pointed out what he said was not correct. When the call ended I asked for the manager's business card. The front desk attendant went “out back” to get one for me and came back with “the manager.” When I asked if this was the manager that was just on the phone driving home, I was informed this was a “different” manager. Why in the world would he have called a manager who wasn’t working when there was a manager on duty and IN the hotel? Why was this on duty manager not the one contacted in the first place? I definitely feel like there was some shady business being pulled. I've never had a situation handled like this at a hotel before. So just beware that even though there are about 20 signs in the garage that say “Marriott Parking”, and the front desk staff may tell you to park in the attached garage, that is NOT actually Marriott Parking and if you get overcharged or have any issues in or with the garage labeled as “Marriott Parking”, Marriott will give you the brush off and NOT assist you with said issue. The only effort the manager will make to he

We stayed at this property after the recent rebranding from Loews. It was a great hotel, the rooms were great, the restaurant for breakfast was good. We picked it due to its proximity tonTarget Field, which is amazing. I'm a diamond member with Hilton, and the room was reserved under my name. I also drove my car to the property, yet the valet guy wouldn't speak to me. He instead had to go the the passenger side to speak to my husband, who I had to give the keys to, he had to give my name, and the valet had to park MY car. The misogyny is ridiculous, and I did confront the man. He never apologized, he just nodded and smiled. It really left a bad taste and I'm disappointed in the stay and the staff they employ in valet. I'll definitely self park somewhere or pick another property in the future.

Visited Minneapolis for a wedding. The Renaissance was mostly average, with nothing extraordinarily good or bad to say about it. If anything we thought the room was a bit dark and the bathroom was a bit small. On the other hand the location was very good, walking distance from the River Walk and from many restaurants and shops in the Downtown Area, although it didn't feel very safe to be walking around. The bed was comfortable and the hotel felt safe. We spent some time in the Lobby Bar after checking-out, it was cozy and the staff was friendly.

We stayed there for 8 days. Overall, it was fine but one of the overnight managers was rude, inp, and passive aggressive. The Good: Decent rooms but small than I expected. I’ve been in Residence Inns in New York City with rooms that are the same size as those in Minneapolis. Parking lot is convenient and reasonably priced. Also, our room had 2 Queen beds and a full kitchen. The Bad: WThe night we checked in, we noticed that the oven was on - no idea how long that was on. Also, the stove-oven looked like it was out of the 70’s. I refused to touch. The Ugly: Daily housekeeping. The front desk staff is not on the same page and was not transparent. Instead of the details, the takeaway is the front desk established the wrong expectations - daily housekeeping. I complained repeatedly when those expectations were not met. Each time I complained, I got an apology but no one corrected the expectations by saying we don’t have the staff for daily housekeeping. If I heard that, I would have had very different expectations. In the last month, I’ve been in two other hotels that were crystal clear with housekeeping expectations- it’s not that hard. In any event, this lead to the overnight manager loudly complaining to a staff membe about “some guy constantly complaining about housekeeping. Someone should tell him we don’t have the staff.” It was rude, unprofessional, and he should have had the courage and consideration to address me directly. I don’t recommend staying here.

The hotel staff was incredible! I booked 14 rooms for my team and they made us feel really special. Little things like the welcome sign and bars made us truly feel welcome. I cannot recommend this place enough! I would definitely stay here again.
Located across from the University of Minnesota, our hotel is within a 10-minute walk to Huntington Bank Stadium. M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center are just across the street. There are several trails and parks along the river, and downtown Minneapolis is four miles away. We offer 5,000 sq. ft. of event space and covered parking.

Good service attitude, clean and comfortable hotel, close to school, convenient transportation, the hotel's wifi usage is great, there is no lunch for breakfast and dinner 🥣, a little unaccustomed
Located in Prospect Park, we are a half-mile from the University of Minnesota and four miles from downtown Minneapolis. Downtown St Paul and the Xcel Energy Center are eight miles away. Our seasonal rooftop bar offers great views of the city, and our heated indoor pool and hot tub are great for a relaxing swim or soak after a long day.

Very new hotel (as of this review) so everything is very clean and tidy. With that said, the Hampton which is connected to it is older and owned by the same person still looks new itself so I am sure this place will continue to be kept up nicely. The staff was great. I wish I could remember the names but they were all great. Every one of them were helpful and nice in their own way. Always asking questions and making small talk. Ready to help accommodate anyone. We had many people there for a state tournament and some families decided to stay longer because of the teams success so they quickly managed to get as many booked an extra night as they could. Some had to go to the Hampton next door but that wasn't a big deal. The owner and managers were seen quite a bit working all through the day. The hotel is walking distance to all of the sports complexes. The pool is shared with Hampton next door. It is small and has a lot of chlorine but there is a pool at least. They were still working on getting their liquor license so no bar but that didn't stop us from bringing our own liquor and snacks and watching a hockey game. The rooms were typical rooms. Looks like they haven't received their dividing curtains yet as those weren't hung up. It was a really nice stay. Maybe the only drawback was you sure could hear noise from other rooms or outside and there are no bathroom fans to turn on so bring your own noise machine.

This hotel continues to decline from being a first rate business hotel to no longer providing services of a strong business hotel. I have stayed here 3 of every four weeks for the last six years including through the pandemic. We have hosted multiple company and customer events. You can no longer get room service from the restaurant - you get a to go box. I might as well stop at Panera if I want to eat out of a paper bag. The quality of the food and the service of the restaurant has declined. The wine list went from reasonably good to reasonably bad - higher markups with less interesting / artisan wine. A black coffee that you wait in line for in the morning costs nearly $8.00. We have a large employee event in March and a big customer event in August. We will be shopping around. This is a great example of decline after a purchase. There are so many options for other hotels. This hotel has no pool / out door space and it has noise from the highway. Once you eliminate your business traveler it is unlikely to fill up with little league teams.

Outstanding
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Four a Seasons for a quick weekend. They emailed in advance of our stay to see if we needed a car service, dinner reservations, and to gather other preferences. Everything was exquisite from start to finish. This is a brand new Four Seasons (and my new favorite)! A spa treatment is a must—I booked a massage with Lindsey and it was the best massage I’ve ever had! The only (small) minus is that the co-ed hot tub was in the same area as the indoor pool. So there are children in the area (with all that entails). But there is also. Hot tub, sauna, etc within the gendered locker rooms that are kid free, so plenty of alternative options.
HHeatherAbsolutely wonderful. I am super picky and my friends all stayed at other hotels in for a wedding. I was last minute and didn’t like what I had seen in the other hotels my friends were at so I walked down to check out this one and I was so happy I did! Love love love it. Clean and cozy and felt like an adults on the interior furnishings. Other hotels have cheap furniture and feel like dorm rooms. I was really have with this choice all the way around!!! I will definitely be back and can’t wait for their new spa to open!! Staff was great too and hotel was decorated lovely for Christmas! Great price also!
SStanI would definitely recommend this hotel to people and I would stay here again. It looked like it was newly renovated. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were very chatty and gave us good service. Especially the two guys who worked the evening weekend shifts at the front desk. The location is perfect , parking is in a garage across the street and many bars and restaurants are within waking distance. Very good value for money!
GGuest UserHad a wonderful one night stay at the historic Nicollet Island Inn. Beautiful location and very convenient to downtown Minneapolis, St. Anthony Main/Stone Arch Bridge area and the University of Minnesota. We had a king room that was clean, comfortable, quiet, and spacious. Complimentary coffee in the morning, but no refrigerator in room. Staff was super friendly. Plenty of free parking. When you book a room, you have the option to make reservations for the restaurant, but we opted to eat elsewhere. It is expensive to stay here, but we loved it and would definitely stay again!
GGuest UserIt's literally a fun playful hotel with a bartender in it! Cozy and casual enough to make you feel you are home away from home. Check in drink was great at the bar. The bar has quality and crafted drinks. (My Old Fashioned was superb) Rooms has ton of character and are so clean. I can not wait for another stay at the Moxy Uptown again or even gather with friends from out of town. Staff makes it even more cozy there! Excellent Job Moxy Team!
My wife and I just spent one night here and couldn’t be happier. This is an immaculately clean and comfortable hotel located in a great area, near attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc. Very courteous staff. As advertised, the room has everything you need for a great nights sleep- a clean comfortable bed, very clean shower, spotless bathroom. Had two stands for luggage, flatscreen TV, nothing real fancy but just right. Very convenient parking in the adjoining garage. It was nice checking in after a long day of traveling and having a cold complimentary beer at the bar. Highly recommended+++
BButauskasAlways love staying at Aloft. It's always great value and I love their design. This one was good as well except the floor lioked dirty and the indoor swimming pool wasn't heated, so water was very cold. Other than that as always clean sheets and towels comfy bed and pillows. Room perfectly warm. Great location. Loved the park right by it.
WWingMaryCheck in was ok... Although clerk stated they were full when we arrived after midnight and we had booked thru their Res Dept. Once she found out I was a diamond member she then changed her attitude! Pool is down due to some funk in the pool
Breakfast was so so, eggs were very salty! Coffee should be available all day but they only have it during breakfast hours, however, they will give you packets for your room but no creamer so I need to run over to Walmart to grab some!
KKimbrellI had to book a last-minute hotel due to a flight delay. This one was more budget friendly than the other options. It also had a free shuttle bus (that I believe runs 1 per hour). The hotel is a bit run down and older as you would expect from the price but the bed was comfortable, room was clean and the check-in staff was nice. There is 1 restaurant walking distance but it closes at 10pm.
