You can experience traditional Japanese relaxing time at this accommodation. They have a lot of separated Onsen rooms, and some could be locked by yourself as a private bath room. I recommend you to try some Onsen. You can also eat local dinner with a lot of dishes. The bed room is cover with Tatami which is a Japanese straw mat, and the Tatami is comfortable with your barefoot. Also no bed, you have to sleep on Japanese rug Futon. The facility is enough clean as well. I would like to stay again the accommodation when I will re-visit Kurokawa Onsen village. 静かな温泉街のステキな旅館。1泊だけでしたが、とても満足度の高い時間を過ごす事が出来ました。 この旅館にはたくさんの露天と内湯温泉があり、そのうち宿泊者用の家族風呂が10近くあります。部屋数も多くない旅館なので、ほぼ必ず楽しむ事が出来るでしょう。湯温もちょうどよく、家族風呂をはしごして楽しみました。 食事も素晴らしく、とても美味しい熊本料理を楽しめました。料理の質はかなり高かったと感じました。 仲居さんは研修生と書かれた、若い男性でしたが、対応も説明もしっかりこなしてくれて満足です。 また黒川温泉に来る機会があれば、お世話になりたい、そう思える時間でした。

National Highway 442 has changed to a new road for several years, and it is easy to drive because there is plenty of room in the road width. This inn is ”Ryokan Wakaba”. There seems to be a lot of guests on GoTo Travel, and there is no space to park in the free parking lot, so leave the key at the front desk. Night meal is a room meal. When I sit in my seat and look at the drink menu, the drink using ginger seems to be delicious. When Mr. Nakai came, I ordered ”Ginger Amazake”, which is said to have the least alcohol. The food is also carried in good order. The dishes unique to Kumamoto such as special marbled horse sashimi and Kumamoto Misai beef and Higo red chicken are delicious. However, the yakiniku in the room smells on the clothes. Breakfast is usually served in the hall on the first floor, but it is a lunch box in each room to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. The rice is cooked in a pot using shichijo rice, and the side dish is delicious breakfast called ”Ogunigo no Rokuhon”, shichijo rice, maitake mushroom and Minamiseki fried miso soup. The inn was friendly and the response was good and the hot spring was comfortable.

I made a reservation to visit Kurokawa Onsen Village. I came by bus and was worried about getting to the accommodation, but after contacting the friendly host, I was able to go back and forth more comfortably! : ) The accommodation is also really nice! The air is so good in nature and the surrounding scenery is so beautiful. The inside of the accommodation is cozy and clean, and most of all, the host is very friendly. The charm of a guesthouse is interacting with people! I met 6 or 7 people during the two nights I was there, and it was really fun to get together at the accommodation and chat together in the evening after everyone had finished their schedules! I will definitely come back next time with my friends. Thank you so much to the host!

Go from the front desk to the back and cross the bridge on the river and enter the building with the room. It is a clean and rustic inn. In addition to the open-air bath and the public bath, there are ６ rental baths that are aimed at each. The bath is free to enter if it is empty rather than a reservation system. It is also convenient to be able to confirm ”empty” on the TV in the room. The meal is served in a private room prepared for each room near the front desk in the morning and evening. It was not a menu that was aimed at, but it was a dish with a feeling of handmade. From the pick-up, the guide, the meal waiter and one person were in charge. I had a service that matched the pace of the customer without hurrying. In the morning, he was sent to the master of the inn and received a handwritten thank you later.

Stunning property with modern rooms (I believe one wing is updated). The hospitality was fantastic, special mention to Mr Rohit and his colleague (whose name I did not get) for helping us make amazing lunch reservations. We enjoyed our time in the private onsen. The dinner and breakfast buffet were good, though dinner was pricey. The view from the windows and surrounding the property is stunning. We would visit here again.

Family room which corresponds to a chalet with a large kitchen area with gas stove and living room with futons available. Beautiful view and outdoor furniture. Bathroom including an 'onsen' bathtub. Calm. Better to take a taxi from Onsen Kurokawa, the owner kindly took us back.

It is a secret hot water near Kurokawa Onsen. When I stopped at the parking lot, the inn was greeted and guided immediately. There is a semi open-air bath away from all rooms. I stayed in a room called a day of forest, where I can see bamboo forest from the bath. The bath on the room is a small inn, but this is a wide rock bath, and it was the best inn I have ever used. It was also good that the bedroom and toilet was away. The family bath along the river was very hot, so the temperature was considerably lowered by water. The large bath near the mother's house, where the atmosphere stairs were down, was good in the morning and night, and it was three times, but it was rental. The meal was very delicious with morning and evening thoughts. However, it was a pity that the person in charge was a new rice, so there was no explanation of the dish. There was an explanation from the lady general at breakfast. (I think dinner books are required.) Especially rice is excellent. I returned for the first time. I heard the brand to the lady general on the way back. When I returned, I was brought with a different tea bowl and I thought my care was great. Because it was spring festival, I thought it would be ruined if there was a person in a country with a large voice, but I was able to spend very quietly at the dining room. I thought that maybe even the inn was thinking... And the dryer in the room is weak. Amenities are substantial. I was happy that there was cleaning, lotion and cotton swab in the public bath. The phone can't see the email unless you go out. The price is also reasonable compared to a famous inn nearby. During the day, stop by hot springs nearby, and if you stay here, it is the best!

Although the location is in the mountains and the road to get there by car is rough. I am very satisfied with the room condition and size. The surrounding scenery is very beautiful, but because it is deep in the mountains, the air is on a different level. The Finnish sauna and bathtub facilities are luxurious, and all appliances for dining are provided. There's also a beam project, so it's a good place to spend time. It would have been nice if they had informed me in advance that check-in would be done without anyone and that room check-in instructions would be sent via email. Unlike ryokans, breakfast and dinner are not provided, but you can get them at the nearby Kurokawa Onsen. The surrounding scenery was so beautiful and the air was clean, so my parents who took me there were very satisfied. As I was checking out, I saw a raccoon running and the kids were screaming with excitement. I'm planning a return visit and I think it would be a good idea to stay for more than 2 nights.
