Poppy Springs Resort & Spa

My wife said the women's bath was great, but the men's bath was unsanitary. It smelled strongly of chlorine.

The spa was a disappointment. While there's a jacuzzi, reclining bath, and steam sauna, each is only large enough for 5-6 people and is a small, enclosed space with no windows. Naturally, there's no open-air bath. It was a good deal for a business trip with no meals included, but I wouldn't return for regular use.

This Western-style hotel suddenly appears in the middle of a hot spring town. It's like an American resort hotel, the goods sold in the shop are lovely, the rooms have high ceilings, and they even provide two types of slippers, one for outside and one for inside the room. As others have mentioned, the bath is across the street, but it's right in front of the hotel, and you're nice and warm from the hot springs when you return, so it doesn't bother you. The bath is indeed on the smaller side, but I stayed on a weekday at the end of November, so I had it all to myself, which was wonderful. If the hotel is full and there are many female guests, it might feel cramped when it's crowded. The meals were mainly vegetables and delicious. I would recommend this to anyone who is tired of the typical hot spring inn cuisine.
