We stayed here as a family and would definitely recommend it. It is very conveniently located with a bus stop right outside and is seconds away from the main tourist area of Oia. There is also a supermarket next door. The staff were very friendly and helpful and arranged us a taxi to and from the airport and a reasonably priced tour to the hot springs and volcano. They were also quick at responding to our email queries before we travelled. Nothing was too much trouble and there was always someone available to help and answer questions. Rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need and the kitchenette is very useful if you’re trying to keep costs down, allowing you to store and prepare your own food and drinks. We booked breakfast, which was very good value compared to what we saw on restaurant menus in the area, and you could order as much as you liked. The hairdryer was old fashioned so I would recommend packing your own because it took me a while to dry my hair. The food at the restaurant is great and good value compared to many places in Oia. The pool area is welcoming and relaxing, though the pool was very cold in May so we didn’t swim for long! Pool towels are supplied if needed. Well done to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable. We hope to be back.

The room and the scenery are beautiful! You can sit outside the room and watch the sunrise and sunset. The room facilities are good, there is a bread machine and coffee capsule machine, and slippers! The fly in the ointment is that the bathtub is outdoor, not very clean, can't take a bath. And the mini bar has to charge for everything (all so expensive hotels TT) 🔔 Service: Especially good! The staff's attitude is super good! Check in to give us an upgraded room, say hello in advance to the type of breakfast we want to eat, and send it to the room the next day. Also sent us a glass of champagne per person! And because the Oia road is very difficult to walk, we also asked the hotel to help send our luggage to the station, the service is really 💯! 🧹 Hygiene: Very clean and clean! The whole room is fragrant, the bed is super soft, very comfortable!

AMAZING HOLIDAY Went on a delayed honeymoon and had the Deluxe Suite with outdoor heated Jacuzzi I would highly recommend this room. Lots of space, 2 showers, amazing views, great size Hot tub - when they say hot tub they mean heated pool. Room Cleaned daily, breakfast bought to the room (huge selection) and pool cleaned daily. Staff exceptionally friendly, staff at reception couldn't have been more helpful with a call down to reception they would do what they could to help Oia is about a 20-25 min walk however on the way back it is a relatively tough walk up copious amounts of steps and in the dark can be quite tricky, we had to use our phone torches. This is nothing against the hotel as this was our decision to stay outside Oia main area. Two slight negatives were that the people who used the room before us were smokers, when we first walked in their was a faint smell of smoke nothing that made us want to move rooms and also on the balcony there were some left over cigarette butts on the floor. Again a mild inconvenience and these are the only negatives we have so as you can see this really is a great hotel. We would love to visit again Highly recommend booking an evening sunset catamaran cruise with BBQ one of the best days we had was when we did this. Oia is very busy in the evenings so would recommend trying to visit in the morning as well as evening for those 'instagram shots'... although we found it too hard to leave our room of luxury most of the time. Drinks are available at reception, water, beer, prosecco, fizzy drinks etc, local shop is about 10 mins walk but about a 20 min walk back due to steps. We ate in Lefkes one evening food was good slightly overpriced but you will find that in most places in Oia. A remarkable experience overall and would love to come back one day! My husband and I just stayed at Maregio Suites for three nights (which is not near long enough) on our honeymoon! This place is by far the best the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at! They were so accommodating and welcoming from the minute we arrived in Santorini! A delicious breakfast was delivered to our room every morning to eat while having breathtaking views, and room service was very quick. There are a bunch of steps, but every morning we stopped part of the way up and talked to Chrisa for a few minutes before going up the rest of the way. There are good restaurants and shopping within a reasonable walking distance. Our airline cracked my suitcase, and they were so helpful in pointing us towards locations to find supplies to fix or replace it. The front desk also booked us massages and a sunset cruise in a matter of minutes. There literally is not a single negative thing that I could say about this place. Huge thanks to Chrisa and George for helping make our trip so memorable! We have already recommended Maregio Suites to multiple people, and we will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Santorini!

When you combine a beautifully authentic hotel brimming with character, alongside an excellent staff with great personalities you’re pretty much on to a winner. This is exactly what has happened at Fanari Villas and boy does it work well. We had an amazing week at this lovely hotel which must have the best sunset views in the whole of Santorini. Every night people flock to Oia to watch the beautiful sunset and we never had to move from any of our terrace, pool area or hotel restaurant for the perfect view. As much as we were in love with the panorama from the hotel it was the hotel staff who made this holiday that extra bit special. Everyone we had dealings with were very professional and efficient but also so very friendly and just such nice people. Having met the boss, Mrs Alexandra, I am sure these appointments are not by luck and if she wishes her staff to be a reflection of herself she has recruited very well. Chuck in a top class restaurant and our own indoor cave jacuzzi and I think you can understand why we were in no rush to come home ! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Lovely hotel! Very friendly staff. It’s quite a walk from the taxi drop off to the hotel with lots of stairs, but they help carry your suitcase, which was very nice. They also helped with booking Covid tests for boarding the plane, recommending restaurants and places to see. The room was absolutely beautiful, with a little balcony with the most beautiful ocean views. Great breakfast. Very good COVID prevention measures. We’ve had an amazing stay and would love to come back! The only negative was housekeeping. It’s a bit windy most of the time, so lots of dust from the hills blows into the room if you keep the balcony door open. It seemed like house keeping kept forgetting to mop the floors, so you’d have black soles of your feet walking barefoot in the room. But we spoke to front desk and the next day the floors were clean. Again, we’ve had an amazing stay. Highly recommend!

We stayed in this hotel 4 nights and the experience was amazing, the food, the view and the excellent services, especially from Hara, she is a wonderful person and a hotel manager that do the best for the guest to relax while in there. She even booked our restaurants and make our breakfast special. Thanks a lot to all of the team and special thanks to Hara. We couldn't find the hotel apartment when we arrived early in the morning, and then called and woke up the grandfather. We simply checked in and showed us the location of the parking lot (although it was a bit far from the residence). Those who cannot find the location of the hotel must look at the road at their feet and look for the blue arrow on the road. Please note that the location of the hotel is far from the location on the map. The room is very large and has a front yard. The basic facilities are all available, but the internet in the room is poor. After all, it is a 200-year-old stone structure house. Breakfast old grandma will put in the kitchen refrigerator in advance, every day is different, juice yogurt bread sandwiches. All in all, it's really good. Friends who like to live can live in fira (thira), which is like the city center, which is like a secluded but beautiful mountain village.

We booked this beautiful little place not knowing what to expect, but it turned out to be a fantastic find. Pros: - Clean and very spacious rooms - Beds are extremely comfortable - The breakfast is lovely & fresh - Close to the centre of Oia - Owners are extremely helpful & friendly - Outside area is picturesque and has stunning views - A lovely selection of restaurants nearby - Bus rout and transport to other areas is close by Cons: - WiFi didn’t seem to work very well at times - Hot water seemed to run out very quickly Only a couple of small things to tweak, but really cannot complain for the money we paid and the level of quality we got. Would stay here again anytime!
