Fontainebleau Miami Beach

Great location, good place where to have fun. Not the best hotel, service so so, and somehow strangely populated. I would avoid it with my family. With friends it was ok

Truthfully, quite disappointed. Paid to Upgrad to an ocean view sorrento suite. Got stuck with a view of the ADA pool.  If I stood in the corner of my balcony and twisted my neck 180 Degrees, I could have seen a sliver of ocean. The hotel desk, said this “partial ocean view” was acceptable. I disagree completely.  Carpets in hotel room were quite dirty and never once vacuumed be entire time I was there. TP holder falling off the wall. And the AC in the room made a super loud knocking noise while running, which made sleeping challenging.  Second to last day there, room never cleaned. Truthfully, not complaining, but just giving an accurate description for a room that I upgraded and paid a whole lot of money for.

It was dated.

First hotel room we were given was dirty. Once we spoke to front desk they were accommodating and moved us to a junior suite. Only issue was one elevator was down so would have to wait 10 minutes for an elevator.

Service was horrible, with room service lying about us having declined service, as well as a general lack of attendance by staff and long wait times on the phone with the front desk. Location is great, but I would not recommend staying here during spring break time or at all.

The ice maker on our floor did not work, we stayed 3 nights, I let housekeeping know, the ice maker was never repaired, the refrigerator in our room did not work. The bottled water provided in the room was. a $12 charge, parking was $75 a night. We had  2 margaritas at the beach $76. I don’t have a problem paying for extras but I felt the charges were excessive. The hotel room was very basic, not impressed. I will choose a different hotel on any return trips to Miami Brach
