Galeria Plaza San Jeronimo

It is the first time that I stay at this brand new hotel, it is so refreshing to count with a superb experience in the south part of this busy city. Even when this is a great business hotel, it has a huge terrace with a swimming pool and jacuzzis. It is very well located, next to a one of the main freeways that cross the city: Periferico Ave.
Hyatt House Mexico City Santa Fe

Unfortunatelly, although in a great location, hotel Administration clearly has a problem. We are Hyatt members and this experience has not been pleasant for what is paid. Restaurant service any time after breakfast is terrible..food bad old refrigerated tast and bar service poor, not attentive to the public, doesnt know how to serve great or anything.. We have not been the only onces complaining today.. lack of experience and training of the personnel is clear as they dont know how to serve and anticipate themselves to the service. Again, food is real bad. People have come and left today because they were not being attended and no interest seems to come from the people on duty. We reserved a different room on the web because our bed was real bad. We are suppose to get the check in today to a better room and room is not available yest, its after 3 pm. Anyway, I think this is our last time staying here, sorry to say and I have to share to make you head Management know that your service here should be expected to be 100 times better than it is...food here in Mexico is amazing, who is in your kitchen? Why are you not traning your people?

Great room, safe and convenient, there are many supermarkets in the surrounding shopping malls, convenient shopping, property management is very friendly, this area is generally more expensive, such a set of three rooms is rare
AC Hotel by Marriott Santa Fe

You can tell there is something about the way the property is managed when several things go wrong. Let me start by the good: Maybel Gonzalez tried everything within her power to avoid a total disappointment; nevertheless, travelers should be aware of the experience and hopefully upper management will take notice. Now the things that need attention: -Sent a message via the BonVoy app, it went unanswered until I requested a reply the following day. -Upon checking I noticed the floor in my assigned room had not been swept for a long time. They sent a very polite housekeeper who cleaned it and apologized profusely stating that was unacceptable. -Handheld shower could not be turned on, they fixed it. Also overhead shower sprayed water all over, this is a sign of not cleaning the shower head, it was fixed. -Air conditioning did not cool. They fixed it. Several reviews have the same issue reported. -The worst - the water pipes had air and banged all night. This was not fixed and even when the lent me a second room to sleep in, the noise was present. Had three sleepless nights. This is really a big problem. I was on the 12th floor. There are several choices in the Santa Fe area...I suggest looking for an alternative, I will.
The Ritz-Carlton, Mexico City

Fantastic stay with club lounge privileges. Fair warning to Bonvoy Platinum and Titanium members (Ambassadors you better know the drill with this brand, otherwise your handlers have been carting your carcass on a handcart from property to property while you’ve been under the influence) lounge access is NOT included unless you pay for it. The groveling from a previous reviewer was pathetic! Now that that’s out of the way, what a muy bien experience! Food and beverage presentations in the club lounge were superior to any other Ritz lounge we’ve visited in North America. Alyssa leads a first rate team with Francisco and Michelle as all stars. Hot entrees were present even between the breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings. We were upgraded to a corner suite. Impressed with the space, layout and electric curtains. Bathroom was superb with separate bathtub and shower. Only complaint was entitled guests allowing screaming children running amuck in the hallways first thing in the morning. And a neighboring guest listening to loud movies on his balcony whilst smoking cancer sticks. Hope he endured a handsome fine for his behavior. But he probably didn’t. Enjoyed the walking proximity to Chapultepec Park with its many fine museums. Service in the restaurant was also excellent. Looking forward to our next stay.
Hotel Carlota

We stumbled upon this hotel thanks to hotel tonight, we extended our stay 3 times since we loved everything about this hotel. It is a boutique hotel in the Reforma district, we highly recommend it as it has an amazing restaurant and bar in the restaurant, and in the morning there are a group of about 3-5 cars that sell food on the corner. Each one of the cars has better food than the next in whichever direction you care to start. The front desk recommended the food trucks and we literally had breakfast there almost every morning. The hotel has literally, no joke or exaggeration, some of the friendliest staff We’ve ever encountered una hotel. Great teamwork, as a business owner I admire it immensely! The hotel is situated in an area that allows you to easily commute by walking to the center of Reforma where the famous symbol of Mexico City the Angel de la Libertad is located. The hotel is also pet friendly, very pet friendly actually, and there is a park for dogs literally two blocks away. We couldn’t have found a better hotel for what we needed.
