Stoes Traditional Suites

This was such a pleasant surprise. We stayed several nights in this tiny village castle. The owner and hostess went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The locals were all so nice. It was a great place to relax and unwind for a few days.

Unbelievable! The modern accommodations of these suites are built directly into the historical structures of Mesta. We could not believe that we were actually in a structure that had stood for many centuries and repurposed to provide an extremely comfortable stay with everything we needed. These suites are just amazing. The setting is incredible. You are in an ancient city, and you are free to wander down the same streets as the ancient people who lived there once did. You are in it and part of it. There is so much history to engulf yourself in while you are here. There are great places to eat within and just outside the fortress walls, and the people there are very welcoming. Our host, George, was extremely accommodating and an absolute pleasure to deal with. What a wonderful person. He greeted us upon our arrival and assisted us to our suite. He provided us with a full review of the accommodations which have all of the modern conveniences you will need during your stay. George answered all of our questions about the town, and gave us some great recommendations on restaurants, activities and sites we may wish to experience. Needless to say, we highly recommend staying at Stoes Traditional Suites!

We stayed in Samaradiko in August 2021. Very cozy traditional rooms providing extra amenities, super comfortable mattresses, super clean room with a mildly smell of mastic everywhere. Both George (the owner) and Evaggelia (customers' service) are very friendly and helpful and they will do everything in their power in order for their customers to have a memorable stay in Chios. We would definitely go again!
