Parador de Merida

Fantastic Parador in the heart of Mérida. It's spacious and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay: a swimming pool, sauna, gym, a well-run café, a lovely patio for drinks, and the Roman Theatre is just a fifteen-minute walk away. Parking is convenient, although, as is often the case, a bit pricey. The large rooms overlook the pool; my only suggestion would be to renovate the bathrooms. For me, it's a ten out of ten; I loved it.

The room was spacious, but the window was small, and there were no amenities provided. A bit disappointing!

The town of Merida is a transit point, but it also has unexpected surprises, namely the hotel. It is built in an old house and has the feel of an ancient castle. The rooms are quite large, the bathroom is also very big, and there is even a fall alarm rope.

Considering it is an older hotel, the facilities are good and the atmosphere is nice. The handsome gentleman at the bar is especially kind. I had a really enjoyable stay.

The hotel is a bit old, but clean and inexpensive. It's convenient for dining and getting around. Parking costs €22 per day. We're stopping for one night between Lisbon and Madrid.

The National Hotel in Spain is Franco's legacy. It is an old house renovated with a strong sense of art. The restaurant is first-class. The rooms are also decorated in the old style. It is quiet. There is a parking lot. The walkway is relatively winding. It is in the old town and there are many restaurants and supermarkets around. Highly recommended.

The hotel rooms are retro and interesting. It is within a 10-minute walk from the train station. There are many attractions within walking distance. There are also some restaurants near the hotel. The taste is not bad. Overall, it is highly recommended.

The carpet was a big hindrance to the suitcases, and if you were not careful you would fall into the carpet. The reception staff seemed unenthusiastic.
