Just returned from a lovely week, the staff are all very friendly and welcoming, the whole place is kept beautifully clean, there are plenty of sun beds, the only area that gets really full is by the infinity pool. The food was great and there’s something for everyone, we used the app to book the themed restaurants which apart from the gourmet one are also buffet style but much smaller so a far nicer experience than the main buffet restaurant. We would definitely recommend and return.

Lovely, recently refurbished hotel,spotlessly clean throughout. Spacious rooms with generously sized beds. Amazing variety of delicious foods throughout all restaurants and plenty of bars and cafes. Special heads up to the groundskeepers, the landscaping is stunning. Early evening musical entertainment at Sunset bar. Evening entertainment at Tivoli was mostly good and finished at 11pm. Fab location with glorious seaviews from Atlantico and lovely promenade walks from back of hotel. Only minimal complaint was the quality of the towels and bedding. Would highly recommend this hotel.

First time on RIU and also first time for an all-inclusive holiday. If you can accept the whole all-inclusive concept this place is ace. Perfect for families. Everything was smooth. Very nice staff who was extremely service oriented and smiling all the time. The pools and outdoor areas was perfect and very clean. Wouldn’t mind coming back in a year or two.

Over the many years we have holidayed at various 5 and 4 star hotels in Meloneras and Puerto Mogan, this was the first time we decided to try the Riu Gran Canaria, trying for the first time an "all inclusive" deal. We can honestly say this was the best holiday we have had in Gran Canaria. Apart from the hotel's excellent location, it's great facilities - including one of the 4 swimming pools having a ramp access for the very young and disabled people - the food at all of the 4 eateries and service by all of the hotel's staff was without fault as was our room. Finally the evening entertainment was very enjoyable. We will certainly come again!

We’ve just finished a lovely week at Riu GC as a couple with our 11-month old. The hotel is a great 4* with lots of great points. Staff are very helpful and friendly (they often made an effort with the little one) Food is good, but likely this is where it falls down from a 5*. There are great options but it does get a little repetitive as the week goes on. I’d recommend Grill @ Atlantico for the evening, as this was a very good meal. All restaurants are buffet. Drink selections are really good in all bars. The rooms are lovely and spacious, and I’d say most are facing the sea. We asked for a double bed as we co-sleep and they were able to do this for us - thank you. The Friday night parties can be very loud, I’d recommend requesting a room on the other side of the hotel if you’re not looking to get involved, or have small children that need to sleep before 11pm. The location is great, there’s lots of neighbouring hotels and a walk along the promenade down to designer shops, supermarkets and malls, as well as lots of bars and restaurants. The beach is about a 15 minute walk, on the other side of the lighthouse. We chose this hotel for the splash pool and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a toddler’s dream and has lots of slides and there’s a park next door with lots to do - this hotel is great for kids. A very enjoyable week in GC, would recommend, particularly to families with young children.

My sister invited me for my birthday to this lovely hotel. Everything was just amazing!!! The food, the room, the staff… Super clean all over the place. Nothing to complain about. The best gift I’ve ever got!!! I definetely know where to spend my next holiday!!

This hotel has been recently refurbished. There are so many restaurants and bars you are spoilt for choice. The staff seem happy to work there and always greet you with a smile. It was a relaxing holiday, which was just what we needed.

We had a perfect holiday in this wonderful hotel. The service was really good and polite. The food was really delicious and fresh. The hotel area was wonderful and clean. This was our first time at this hotel, but not last. Hope we can come back soon.
