This hotel is a hidden gem! The tram is at your doorstop, which takes you straight into the city. If walking is your thing then it will only take you 25 minutes. I was lucky enough to get a room with a view of Albert Park. My room had plenty of space to set up a work station as well as relax. The team on the front desk were welcoming and faciltated a speedy check in and out.

I loved this apartment! I’ve stayed in several hotels and establishments over the past few weeks in Australia and this was the best by FAR! Cleanliness and attention to detail were immaculate. It was so refreshing to walk into a beautiful apartment with everything taken care of - the TV was great and had movies on demand (and there was a TV in the bedroom too!), there was a washing machine and tumble dryer, with washing powder provided. There is a dishwasher (again, dishwasher tablets as well as washing up liquid provided and topped up throughout my stay). I got fresh towels everyday and my bed made/bins emptied etc. The kitchen area was so well stocked with equipment and had everything I needed and more. Staff were very accommodating and lovely - I was able to check in over 3 hours early (which was a god send after a long flight) and check out 2 hours late (again so helpful as I was just heading to the airport so it meant I could do some final washing and get ready). The rooftop pool, sauna and spa were a great addition too, which I used almost everyday. Very quiet and restful place which provided me with a really good rest that I needed at this point on my trip, and allowed me to do all my washing etc in the comfort of my room, which means I’ve left feeling rejuvenated. Very impressed and would definitely return!

We were able to upgrade to a suite which was lovely. There was a great view of the sports park and the CBD. The bathroom is very large although quite exposed (it has a glass wall on one side so you must turn on a switch to obscure it. The mirror above the two sinks has the worst possible lighting we've ever experienced in a hotel--so bad we had to walk into the bedroom to find better light--even just to brush our hair. The climate control is integrated into the lightswitch arrangement on the wall so that took some learning. The AC could not keep up with the sun load in the afternoon unless you closed the curtains. The bed and room appointments were very nice. There are plenty of power outlets. The breakfast buffet was really good although the coffee maker needs some directions on how to use it. The location is across the street from a park and a nice walk to the CBD. The room was very quiet. The staff was particularly helpful, and we must commend Concierge Andy for all of his help.

The hotel is not in the city, but there are restaurants and bars to eat around. There is a woolworth diagonally across the road and I bought half-price tofu rice, which is hard and spoiled! The hotel should be newly opened, the facilities are very new, and the service staff is very enthusiastic. We also sent a welcome drink card when checking in. (The room is not large, but one or two people are OK. If you are a child, you can book one Other larger room types

Then there is the roof top pool, a small gym and sauna too. It’s our home away from home!

Stayed here as a Diamond Ambassador in an iconic suite - Check in experience was great, warm welcome, benefits acknowledged and welcome drink provided. Amazing room, ridiculous amount of space, comfortable bed, great little office/working area. Unfortunately, the general level of service/care factor is lacking especially when staying in a room costing over 1k a night! One of my complimentary water bottles was open/used and about half empty, yuck. Later that day I wanted to use my $25 credit on the minibar 200ml bottle of gin (which is listed as inclusive of 4 mixers). Gin was missing from the mini bar I couldn't find it. Called down to reception to ask if it was by request, they assured me it should be there and would send someone up. Waited 2 hours and no one came which frustrated me as I was waiting so called down again and was assured someone was on the way. Someone did arrive with a huge bag full of everything except the gin. When questioned didn't seem to know what I was talking about, I had to point to it on the minibar menu and was met with a very confused expression, he left. Then about 30 minutes later a different person arrives with the gin bottle, success. However upon checkout there were a bunch of mini bar items charged which I hadn't consumed, and in fact were not even missing. I hate having to have that conversation but after only 3 words they were ”happy to remove them” which makes me think this isn't an uncommon occurrence. I later noticed that the mixers were charged as well where as they should have been included with the gin purchase cost, but I couldn't be bothered wasting my time to try and sort it out. Club lounge service was attentive but did fill up and get quite busy in the evenings however my drink was always topped up and the staff there were friendly and engaging. Temperature control seems non-existent in the room and I'm convinced it makes no difference what you set it to. I had my do not disturb on until mid morning, so as I was leaving for the day dropped by reception and said I may have missed housekeeping and could they have someone make up the room. Arrived back a few hours later and it hadn't been done. All up a real mixed bag here, but can't help feel my simple requests were a bother and inconvenience.

The hotel is very good, if you are going to Melbourne to participate in the marathon, it is a very good choice, 7:00 in the morning, 6:00 out will not be nervous, the hotel is a few minutes walk from the start and end. About 15 minutes from the flinders train station, a few stops by car, forgot, it is convenient, it is more expensive in Melbourne, the weather is good, this road is very good, opposite the war memorial, not far from the South Melbourne market Walking in Melbourne is enjoyable. Compared to the hotels in the city center, the rooms are much more spacious, the bathrooms are large, the bathtubs are available, the kitchen can cook for yourself, it is very convenient, there is no room service on weekends, there will be notices on paper. Of course, if you need to talk to the front desk or will provide it, remember to go to the front desk. The environment is very good, the picture is quiet and the environment is recommended. There is a convenience store in the vicinity of five minutes. This is not convenient for hotels in the city center. After all, there are many hotels in the city center. The advantage here is that the room is large, the environment is good, the lobby is very big. After the check-out at night, you can leave your luggage for free, or you can check out late.
