Hotel is well located with its own parking. Clean room that is very dated. Self check-in is very simple and fast. Creek flow right next to the hotel.

The hotel is nice, the rooms large and comfortable. The breakfast quite good, if not opulent. The staff friendly. The reception is not always staffed, but the telephone backup effective and quick. The town is quiet and underpopulated, and most restaurants are sadly closed. Finding a place to eat was in fact the biggest challenge. A good base for exploring the beautiful area around the town.

No one was at the reception when we arrived. Instead there was a phone number to call. We tried calling several times, but no one picked up the phone. After waiting around for more than an hour, we had to go to a different hotel. We left a note for the reception, but no one even got back to us.

Beyond rude receptionist
We get to the hotel and greet the receptionist and say we have a reservation and she starts speaking in german and say we don't have a reservation (i think) in a very angry way, and when i didn't understand she got even angrier and gesticulates at us, and then guy shows up that speaks good enough english and we ask what's wrong and he says nothing and we get our key.
If I hadn't already paid for the room i would just have left.
The angry receptionist really caught us by surprise, we have been to germany 6-7 times and this was our first encounter with a rude german.

Auswahl an Brötchen/Brot?
