After a long drive, I was greeted with warm hospitality from Mark. He answered all of my questions about the local hospital and made sure I had everything to make my stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel for cleanliness and super nice people!

I am an IHG rewards member and we stay in HI Express whenever we go anywhere if they are available. (We were on our way north and this was just a place to crash and move on in the early AM to get through D. C..). The price is always right and the breakfast is filling. This HI Express failed. This is a tired, worn out and unkempt hotel to say the least. We have stayed at several HI Express that were less than $100 a night and demonstrably better kept than this tired old place. We checked in no problem, Lobby was clean and smallish but that means nothing to me. I’m not staying in the lobby. We took the elevator to our room and the first thing we noticed was that the hall hadn’t been vacuumed that day and likely not for a couple of days before that. We entered the room and it was typical. The furniture seemed in good shape. The bathroom was dilapidated with peeling wallpaper, a worn out sink/vanity, bad flooring behind the toilet and massive caulking around the tub. Over time I’m pretty sure there has been a whole tube of caulking laid down around the tub. There has to be water damage behind that mess. My wife liked the bed but I thought we were sleeping on quicksand or a sink hole. Because of our departure time we did not have the breakfast. Bottom line, an overpriced hotel not up to IHG standards. I chose it because it was easy on-easy off I-95.
