We went for a wedding and the Christmas holiday and it was absolutely amazing. We got a beautiful view of the South Pole holiday attraction, the happy hour was on point the food was delicious breakfast was custom and complimentary and dinner was excellent and affordable. We tried a little bit of all the food they offered and not one disappointed! The service was super friendly and would greet you in the halls. We had to order a few things and they came quickly the space and the cleanliness was phenomenal. I will never stay anywhere else when I visit the Valley again. It was well worth it and just takes you to another place where you're taken care of.

The housekeeping was very good and they were very detailed on the cleaning for the 3 nights that we stayed there. They breakfast was outstanding and at of the plates that they had for breakfast was chicharrón con salsa and that was so delicious. Also, they just finished with remodeling the hotel and the hotel looks outstanding.

This place is awful. The bed is hard as a rock they've only updated the outside and lobby. The shower is filthy and doesn't get hot water. The walks are spotted with patch up paint holes in the wall. The ac is ancient, the room is sparse and small, dark and gloomy. The lobby was leaking and they had towels and trash cans soaking up the water. They said indoor pool but it opened to the outside so since it was cold and raining we didn't get to use it. I asked for a room away from the elevator and he moved us right next to it. When we complained they sent us a form letter saying thank you for letting us know you are having a bad time. Nothing else. We booked a suite (they're most expensive) and it was a tiny mess. Do not stay here!

I was here to visit some family for a wedding. Unfortunately, the newly weds had a mis-book, & had to move rooms. It was a large ordeal & before that checking in was a hassle (I mean it's not FD's fault). The front desk however, Jacky & Mariela, were super accommodating & professional with the ordeal. They even decorated the room after the move! The front desk service is PEAK, Optimal, & THE BEST. My phone broke & I nervously asked Jacky for directions, she was more than happy to assist. She even let me get in-contact with the room. She was as sweet as sugar. The place is rather luxurious too, them modern elevators are fannnccyyy!!

I stayed at the Best Western Rose Garden for a weekend and it was a very pleaseant experience. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance for shopping centers and restaurants. I didn't have to worry about finding a parking space, we left the car at the hotel and enjoy walking and shopping... They offer a tasty tex-mex breakfast buffet which is a very good one. I guess this hotel is a best value since many people was hosted there, we had to follow a line to get into the lounge and the pool was very busy, but anyway, I would stay there again for sure.
SSlimDaddy01Very convenient location relative to the airport. Monday thru Wednesday happy hour designed for business travelers with beer, wine, and a low budget meal. I’ve stayed here many times over many years, and there is very little variation (none?) to the menu. There is a morning breakfast too. The breakfast is OK. Also very predictable. There can be noise problems, but I’ve never experienced it during normal quiet hours. I’ve known the GM and staff members for many years. They are friendly and helpful. The furniture is not comfortable for long term lounging for tall people. The beds had been nice, but they are definitely beginning to show their age (furniture too), depending on the room. Could use some updating. The pool and hot tub are ok if you don’t mind the loud HVAC noise from the building next door. There is also a BBQ grilling area which is frequently used. The garbage truck will wake you up early in the morning (before 7) with its loud banging. Perhaps a good backup alarm clock. There is a always a large law enforcement (State Police, DNR, Military, etc...) contingency staying at this location. You can either feel nervous or more secure. They basically keep to themselves because they’re there to work. Suites have a kitchen and dishwasher. Suites also have sufficient space. Weekends are generally quiet with the non-business crowd. There are weekend meals too, but the dishes are silverware are replaced with styrofoam and plastic ware. I like staying here. Just wish they’d update the furnishings with newer, more comfortable furniture.
We booked based on reviews and no matter what people put here...perspective is reality. This isn't a fake review either nor did anyone or any other competitor pay me to write this. I don't typically review but this had to be said. My wife, daughter and I came to help her get set up in her apartment before starting back at college again. Checking reviews to make a decision are deceiving and worthless....so here we go, location bad, AC didn't keep humidity out of room, mattress was lopsided and uncomfortable (slept horrible), bathroom was still dirty, girl at front desk told my daughter....”breakfast is light in a small area”. I walked in the next morning looked to see for myself and it was just as described, got a cup of coffee and walked right out...ended up throwing out coffee as it was not good and we went to eat somewhere else. I decided we weren't going to stay another night as we had booked 2 nights. Called front desk to see what can be done and because of price we paid which was $109 with tax per night for a 2 queen room we could only get credit for leaving early. I asked guy at front desk how much is same room rate if we didn't get reduced rate...he said about $120 a night with no taxes. We stayed in a 2 queen room at Holiday Inn Express Pharr for $144 which included tax regardless with possibility of losing out on $109 was so worth it....clean, comfortable bed, more spacious, great breakfast and so on. It goes without saying...”you get what you pay for”. I got my credited night notice via email to use before 10/31/23 and that money is gone as I will never stay there again.
GGuest UserRoom was ok not great but acceptable. Not real happy with the room cleaning policy. Seems a bit extreme 3 days before they clean. Their breakfast for the homeless and bums policy seem just wrong. A quite filthy person came in at about 7 am and stuffed his pockets with a wide variety of food and drinks. Then walked out the door. The staff stood by and laughed. The next day I watched a staff leave and go to the parking lot with a plate full of food. A few minutes latter return with it a few minutes later they came back. I then realized that they were feeding the homeless. I assume the regular person she was going to feed wasn't where he was supposed to be. I latter ask at the desk what is the policy about non guest at breakfast. I was told that some of the guests look like homless and the staff don't ask due to that. That is very very different than other places I've been. IMHO There is so much wrong with this soup kitchen philosophy I don't know were to start. I doubt that this is a management policy at least I hope not.
AAhgusGood location if using rideshare, clean room and helpful friendly front desk. There is a gas station nearby with a shop. Good for short stay if early flight oit.
