This trip was a special one: we were going to pick up a brand new puppy and needed a night's stay along our long drive north. The French Quarter Inn was right on route, and we never thought it would be the wonderful place it is. It is charming, beautiful, and the staff is more than kind and helpful. Set along side the Ohio River, this 25-year-old property is off the main street of Maysville by a block, and offers a safe area to take walks and see the quaint town of Maysville. There is a pool and outdoor terrace, and the view of The Ohio River from our room was spectacular. Breakfast was included; however, it consisted of the Kuerig coffee choices and premade muffins and Danish. There are, however, a great deal of breakfast eateries closeby, so no worries! We will be on this route in the future and will be staying at The French Quarter Inn again. P.S. Our bathroom had the tiniest rubber ducky, which was supposed to make us feel comfortable about being at this hotel. I had to poach this ducky and take it home, a souvenir from our puppy trip!
