Matsumoto Tourist Hotel Reviews

We managed to stay in Annex room and the room is newly renovated and very comfortable. The most impressive one was they provide nice green tea/houjicha and the hotel lounge was really comfortable. Another good thing is they provide a very good local breakfast, the restaurant staffs were friendly and warm. Hotel provides parking with a fee of ¥900 if not mistaken.

There is a comic room that is open to the public and provides tea and midnight snacks, so that travelers who don't want to go out can also stay in the hotel comfortably.

I stayed for two nights. The service as very good and the staff was very helpful. I was able to leave my bag while I was sightseeing. The room was very clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was excellent with a large variety of food. Great location. About 15 minute walk from train station and Black Castle. Definitely would stay here again.

There is a mangaya in 2F with great soba noodle, they even have free bicycles rental for customers. A very good experience

This would be a decent business hotel were it not for the poor hygiene in the room: the carpet and the toilet smelled bad enough that we had to sleep with the window ajar. Staff were super friendly and helpful; location good enough, close to restaurants and even the castle.

It's a pretty nice hotel 🏨 It only had a large public bath, but it was there ✨ I was happy that they served green tea soba noodles in the lobby from 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM 😊 It was also nice that they had a lounge where you could read manga while drinking tea 🍵 ✨ There was a nearby multi-story parking garage, which was convenient 🤭

The bed was comfortable and I was happy to have a choice of pillows. I used the large public bath, so the small size of the unit bath in my room didn't bother me. I was also pleased with the complimentary green tea soba noodles.

It was a solo trip. Overall, I was very satisfied. - Location: It was not very close to the station, but it was close enough to walk, and it was good that it was close to major tourist attractions such as art galleries. - Amenities: The best part of the trip was that they offered free bicycle rentals. It was convenient and I was able to quickly move to major tourist attractions. In particular, the study and lounge were very nice. - Room: The room was clean and the facilities were convenient. - Breakfast: The food was very delicious, and the menu was varied. Overall, they were very friendly and the service was good. I plan to visit again if I visit Matsumoto. Thank you!

Anyway, the restaurant on the first floor was the best!!! Matsumoto Castle was also just a 10 minute walk away, and even though I happened to book this hotel, it was really great ^_^

The sanitation is good and the location is also very good, close to Matsumoto Castle and JR station, but the room is relatively small and the soundproofing is also relatively poor, if someone talks outside the door, you can hear it.
