Hotel San Domenico Al Piano Reviews

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station, Matera city center, and the Sassi district. The room was quite comfortable, clean, and quiet. It had everything we needed, though perhaps an electric kettle and cups were missing. The breakfast was good, and the variety of fruits was a pleasant surprise in winter.

There is a parking lot and it is a ten-minute walk from the attraction.

The sweets at breakfast are delicious. There were some salty ones, probably to accommodate foreigners, but they weren't very tasty. The service is inconsistent. The rooms are clean and the amenities are adequate. The walls are thin. The location is great, close to the station.

The hotel is in a very good location, right in the center of the old town, 100 meters away from the old town. Parking is very convenient and a bit expensive at 15 euros per day. The service is very professional, very good and enthusiastic! The breakfast is very rich and the best I have ever had this time! Everything is available.
