Good hotel just stayed with hotel full of students so breakfast and dinner was like a cattle market but had the pool area all day until they came back from their trips beach was close by

The staff is 10 years old, but, without disappointing anyone, I would like to highlight Coral. Sincerely, I have no words to describe how amazing it is to get to the hotel and see that she is there to meet you with a smile of ear to ear, always, whatever happens. The hotel is very comfortable and the hotel is very comfortable and the hotel is very comfortable. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable, and it is very good to stay at the hotel. I'm sure that if she didn't work in this hotel, I wouldn't go so many times and even think about changing from the hotel. It is with considerable disappointment that I pen this review. Our experience at SANT JORDI, a purported 5-star property, fell drastically short of our expectations and has left us questioning the credibility of its rating. Upon our late-night arrival, we were eager to unwind and revel in the luxury amenities, especially the bathtub, which was a pivotal factor in our selection of this hotel. However, the excitement quickly morphed into disillusionment when we encountered a large, unsightly brown stain on the side of the bath, resembling feces. This egregious lapse in cleanliness prompted immediate communication with the reception, an interaction we hadn’t anticipated. Our subsequent meticulous inspection of the room uncovered more shortcomings: black mold inhabited the shower area, posing a severe health and safety risk. Furthermore, the water tap, when operated, emitted a noise so intrusive that it had the potential to disrupt the slumber of other guests within proximity. These occurrences were not only inconvenient but also reprehensible, considering the supposed standing of the hotel. Our concerns, articulated at check-out, were met with assurances of a full refund for the inconveniences suffered. Despite this promise, the refund is yet to materialize, adding to our grievances. Our stay at SANT JORDI was marred by unacceptable cleanliness standards, glaring maintenance oversights, and unfulfilled promises, all incongruent with the hotel's purported stature. We left feeling deceived and distressed, far from the rejuvenating experience we sought. It's imperative for prospective guests to approach with caution and for the management to institute immediate rectifications, lest the hotel’s reputation suffers irreversible damage. Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆

I saw this hotel from a distance when I passed by in 2019. At that time, I wanted to stay at this hotel once when I had the opportunity to come again next time. This time I got my wish and stayed. Great hotel!

Just returned from a week stay at the hotel. The hotel is super clean and offers a gd bfast. However I hate to say that we r soo disappointed with the approach of the receptionists. We r a family of 5 ... 2 adults and 3 kids and thus had 2 interconnecting rooms. By mistake one of the kids locked one of the rooms with the chain and thus could not open the door. We asked the receptionists (2 young ladies) to help us out. After something like an hour waiting they told us that the maintence guy cannot be reached. We asked for a scew driver to unscrew the chain and they told us with have to give our visa no as these were d instructions. Of course we refused and after another hr or so, I had to reexplain that I had imp medication in the room and couldn't no spend the night outside without it. Only then did one of the them decide to come up and see my husband unlock the chain in 2 mins! No apologies nothing.... On another day we asked how we can get to some funpark with kids. Since we didn't have a car they told us that it is practically impossible. It is clear they (once again the 2 ladies) have no idea.... Absolutely.... How to inform clients how to get there. We had to ask locals to help us.... And we managed Illa fun park and also Porta Avventura with no hassle at all using a train! Unbelievable. When we needed a taxi a helpful receptionist, Marc always called for us and the taxi came in no time. However when we asked the same 2 receptionists.... They wanted to give us the number of the driver and we had to call. Im so sorry to complain however I believe that the receptionists have to have basic manners and information skills to direct their clients in a decent manner. The situation was so hilarious that sometimes I thought they were playing some joke on us😶

Excellent hotel, and very clean. Staff are friendly and always available to help with anything you need. Towels for by the pool are also available. The beach is a 25 minute walk away but there are regular buses if you don’t want to walk. There is a regular bus into the centre of Barcelona too which only takes 20 minutes. If you walk up from the hotel there is a supermarket and a few shops. We went to the supermarket for breakfast items on a couple of days because we had breakfast in the hotel on the first morning and wouldn’t say it was worth the 15 euros each that they charge. The restaurant is open until 10.30pm so if you’re arriving late like we did, make sure you eat before you get there. There were a few ants in the room - BUT we were abroad and on the ground level so what can we expect. It was fine and didn’t bother us because there were only a very small number of them. Had there been more we would have said something. Will definitely return to this hotel. Thank you Hotel Arrey Alella! :-)

The only good thing about the hotel is the staff… everything else was quite bad… rooms (because we saw more than one) quite neglected. The photos are very well done. That's a staff of 10!! The breakfast is good, it is limited in variety but it is good

My friends and I, have just returned from a great week riding our bikes in Lapoma bike park. We booked the Sorli Emocions Hotel direct for our 7 night stay and my goodness we absolutely loved it. Right from the moment we arrived Mirium on reception was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The rooms were spotless and the beds are very comfortable , the rainfall shower was an absolute God send after the days jumping bikes. The breakfast was also perfect and the fresh orange juice was the best I've ever had. A great selection of fruit, yogurts, breads, pastries,meats and cheese Also as much Coffee as you want. The swimming pool was small but more than enough for a refreshing dip morning and evening..

Stayed at Bernat II for a week in May and, once again, had a very enjoyable holiday. This was my second time staying here. There are so many positives about this hotel. We booked full-board (as had two elderly relatives with us) and found it fantastic value for money. For the price we paid, the food is excellent - breakfast, lunch and dinner are all self-service buffet meals with a huge selection of food, nicely presented. Something for everyone! Live cooking station each day with fish/meat/omelettes freshly cooked. Location is excellent - less than 5 mins walk from the beach and the town centre. Lots of little bars, restaurants and shops nearby. A big Mercadona just around the corner. Bus to/from Barcelona, as well as up the coast directly behind the hotel. Drops you right in the centre of the city a few mins walk from Plaza de Catalunya. Room was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable with a balcony. We were on the top floor and had a partial sea-view. Two large double beds in each room. Room cleaned daily and fresh towels supplied. Beach towels are provided free of charge at reception. Service is excellent which seems to come from the top down. Management were kind enough to offer a voucher last time when we had to cancel due to a family bereavement, for which we are very grateful. Thanks to Lydia for her kindness and help with the booking. Overall, we had an excellent stay and cannot find fault with this hotel! Thanks to all at Bernat II from Ireland!
