Mirissa Seastar

The best location, right on the ocean shore in a place far from the track and noise. The hotel was chosen on arrival without booking. Looked very much. Stop this, given the adequate cost, location, chic view from the window and spacious rooms. Staff polite, fulfilled all our requests. Given that the service in Sri Lanka is below average, the rooms are not cleaned, only at our request, but so in almost all hotels. About the room: very large, light, with panoramic noise insulation windows, with a huge comfortable bed and balcony. Furniture is not the first freshness. The interior is ordinary. Breakfast is uniform (egg, fruit salad, fresch, toasts, tea, coffee), but you can order for a dop. fee on the menu, cook delicious but expensive compared to other cafes. We went to dinner at Peti Peti and Zefir (there is very delicious), in Popa Mango. A coconut tree hill is welcome in 2 minutes. The hotel is located on a wonderful turtle beach, waves are not big, people are small, very comfortable, comfortable with children. To the main beach of Mirissa 20 minutes walk along the beach, but there are big waves, suitable for surfers, swimming is not comfortable, we went there only in the evening in the cafe. We rested a large group of 25 people. Everyone was in different hotels. But Seastar I liked the most. If not very accurate to service and interior, I can boldly recommend it!

Unbelievably good, the room is large and clean. There is a welcome drink at check-in, it is papaya milk, oh, really good. And the surprise is that going out is the beach. The distant friends who lived have gone a lot of ways to go swimming at the beach. And we are out, it's too convenient, too worth it. Great room, big bed, large balcony, big beach. Really lucky, I chose the Holiday Inn Mirissa. I don't care, I really feel that the hotel is great, so I recommend it to everyone. And breakfast is not bad, I like it very much.

Long searched for a 2-day accommodation option in Dickwell. Hotels on the first line are quite road. They ended up staying at this guest house and did not regret. Location on the second line from the main beach of Dickwell, from the road a little further down the block. But it is very quiet. At the same time to the beach eight minutes in a rush. To the beach Hirikitia can also get to the beach on foot, but longer - 20 minutes. Very close to the Food City market, market, fruit shops, a few cafes, but the food is the simplest. Next to the beach Hirikitia cafes and restaurants are a lot and on any taste - dinner went there. Very liked the main beach of Dickwella. Waves are, but jumping on the waves is quite safe (only not with small children). The beach is beautiful, the people are small, the coastal strip is wide, 2 beds with umbrella are standing on day 600 rupees. The room is new, large, clean everywhere, there is air conditioning, cabinet, lingerie dryer, very literally is set up with railroads and switches. There are bedside lights (for me this is a big plus). The bathroom is separated by a ribbon, hot water is. Very attentive and caring master Jamila. Always wondered whether everything was okay, whether any help was needed. You can order dinner or dinner at him. The servings are big, delicious. The breakfasts included for the choice are continental or Lancaine. We chose Lancaine. Everything was very enjoyable - delicious and satisfactory. When leaving the hotel, the host called us a fat to another beach at a good price. We can fully recommend this place for accommodation and we will be happy to come back.
Village Star Rest-Mirissa

Very good guest house, clean, fresh repair, everything necessary to eat. It feels that the hosts have done everything with the soul, very hard, always order, clean, comfortable, cute. Delicious home breakfasts. A good location, close to the sea, but no noise of the road that is near the sea. Rooms are spacious. There are steam rooms, family rooms. Hot water, WiFi, Conditioner. There are big balconies, good evening to sit) you can also sit on the roof, watch sunset/sunset. There are rooms with sea view. Near the cafe. There are two kitchens. You can take things to wash. The hosts offer interesting tours at a good price. The hosts helped us very much in everything, told where to go, that to see, helped with renting a bike, a tour of whales, to find a good yoga class. Very hospitality) we looked at several hotels and guest houses in Miris and very happy, That they found the village star rest, here and stopped for all the holidays and certainly didn't want to leave)

Spent 5 nights chilling at this wonderful spot after 2 weeks of culture and site seeing. Not sure how “boutique “ hotel is defined but not what I was expecting, however, the rooms are fantastic and the location, right on the beach with incredible views are worth it. We didn’t have dinner there as too many lively choices on the beach, breakfast was excellent. We used the hotel taxi service for a day trip to Galle which was very good, used them again when we left to Negombo and I think this time it was subcontracted out and the car and driver left much to be desired, good job I had google maps or driver would never have found the hotel. That aside, another wonderful experience of the country and the people.

Words cannot describe how satisfied I was with my stay in this hotel. The price/quality range is huge. Our room was super spacious with an amazing view on the ocean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they always made sure we are okay and satisfied. Their juices are pure perfection, I definitelly recommend the watermelon one. They are also offering great prices on whale watching, masaages and a tea company visit (which I definitelly recommend going to if you decide to stay here). After reading some other reviews, yes, the rooms are not automatically cleaned or towel changes are not on daily basis, but all you need to do is ask and they will do it. Also, the water in the shower is cold, but it feels really good in the 35 degree enviroment of Sri Lanka. But if you fancy a hot shower, you still can have it since there is a water heater, which you need to turn on and the staff nicely explained how to do it. And I think that’s great if you’re also looking for an eco-friendly stay. The reception area felt very cozy with cute squirells, (no, they are not bothering you). The owner is very nice and manages the hotel in a very friendly way. A big thank you to all of the staff members who made our stay unforgetabble, I definitelly will visit again.
