Hacienda Puerta del Cielo Eco Lodge & Spa

It was a great experience to stay at the Hacienda. The casitas are very beautiful and all the people are so friendly! The view over the lake Masaya and the volcano is stunning!

We had a beautiful time in the area! Great location for visiting Mombacho trails, Masaya volcanic crater and Granada. All are not far and the driver, Francisco, is very reliable and knowledgeable of the area! Francisco was an excellent host and gave us great tips on what to do while on our stay and made sure to get us around. It's important to note that this is an Eco Lodge and the road to get in/out is not easy to drive on so I, personally, would not rent a car and drive here on my own. I recommend using the driver to get around! The food and drinks were average and limited options available, but got the job done! Plus the views made up for it!

Beautiful little paradise off the beaten trail. You need a few days here to appreciate your surroundings. The staff here took very good care of us, and we enjoyed several tours with them.

A quiet and beautiful place is designed to have a break away from the city; but accessible simply a total relax that I hope to return soon. . i promise

What an amazing place! Beautiful location with a direct view of the volcano and the lake. Wonderful staff, delicious food, comfortable rooms, and all set in the luscious jungle surrounded by birds and wildlife. Don Juan Carlos went out of his way to accommodate my family with many special requests that we are quite grateful for. The property is large, very safe and secure, and at the same time within only 1 hour of Managua to the north and colonial Granada and the islands to the south. We really loved it and would absolutely go back.

Exquisite design & facilities, in prefect harmony with the natural beauty of the surrounding area & local artists. Literally off the beaten track but well worth a visit.

The property was nice but , no WiFi , swimming pool dirty, we paid to stay in a jacuzzi tub which was not working. Restaurant and bar closed at 8 pm really early. Getting to the property was complicated not enough info on the road and gps was taking us thru roads with dead ends. The property has so much potential and beauty .

This stay was amazing. JC the owner and manager was very attentive to our needs. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, especially Francisco. I would definitely come back. It was definitely a little piece of heaven
