Overall I would say this is a 4 out of 5 stars. The only reason it lost a star was for the shower. It was absolutely awful, had zero water pressure and the shower head had pink mold growing growing on it from not being cleaned properly. The water pressure was so awful it took 15 seconds just to get my wash cloth wet. But there was always hot water and it was incredibly hot which was a nice thing so you didn’t have to wait forever for some lukewarm water. Breakfast was good, I wish they would have had some healthier options as well and maybe some more fruit. The only fruit offered was some shriveled up oranges. Other than those 2 things it was a good hotel with incredibly comfortable beds! And the room smelled good! I have never ever walked into a hotel and had the room actually smell nice. Usually they have somewhat of a musty smell no matter what, but not here. We have stayed at a couple others in Marshalltown before as we come here often and this is by far the best one to stay at, so we will be staying here again despite the water pressure.
