Golden Tulip Marseille Euromed

It is with immense satisfaction and tremendous felicitation to all the managing staff at Goldentulip Euromed-M****ille. I would wish to extend my very special heartfelt thanks to Ms Celine, Ms Taina, and Mr. Saintiago. The tremendously competent lady: Ms. Celine. She is really a GTS: Géniale, Top, et Super. Ms. Taina is an always helpful lady with a special welcoming smile that makes feel more than at home. Mr. Saintiago is a man of solutions. He never tells you about the difficulties. For him, there is always a solution for the customers when a whatsoever problem happens. Thanks to you three, and to all the staff working with you, Goldentulip Euromed-M****ille has become a place for everything and everything in place. In a word: You are the best. 👍. I wrote this review after more than ten stays in this exceptional hotel to say that buildings become alive with the working staff that are managing them. I have tried three other nearby hotels, and it is a mistake to even think of comparing Goldentulip Euromed-M****ille to them. You cannot compare the incomparable!!

Stayed here for six nights. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of space for three people. Beds were comfortable and the balcony was a bonus. Nice for having our evening drinks. The only thing We found confusing was why leave tea and coffee but only small paper cups, a microwave but no plates or cutlery and water but no glasses? We rang reception and they gave us all of the aforementioned items. So all is forgiven.

It was even a kitchen and the facilities were quite well equipped. The coin laundry was a type of app that was registered and used, but it was not able to register well, and the money disappeared somewhere once. The bad thing is that.
Best Western Hotel du Mucem

In a professional trip, I chose this hotel for its ideal rental next to the Joliettes Square and just a few steps from the Mucem. As a single person, they gave me a small room with a single bed so small that it was difficult to put his bag. I asked to change of room, and since the hotel was complete, I was given with supplement a room of category superior ... but superior than the name. The bathroom was large but with a small shower cabin and the hair dryer stopped after 30 secs because it was overheating. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable, but it is very good to have a good breakfast, even if it is a bad thing that the fruit juice was not available.

What makes this place special are the people. Yes, it is modern, tastefully designed and immaculate with great access to public transport and a couple of local treasures, the front desk with Tata, Tania and Sujata, complete with broad smiles and great local knowledge are a compliment to manager Emmanuel and Mr Fixit, Julian.

Spent 2 nights here recently. We arrived by train and decided to walk. It took us about 15-20 minutes from St Charles station using Google maps. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel but we didn't manage to figure out if the line went near the station. Big, open reception area. We didn't try the breakfast but instead walked round to cafe Pomme du Pain for a crossaint and coffee (it's in front of the Leš Terrasses du Port shopping mall which is about 7 mins walk but if Leš Docks is open you can cut through to make it quicker). There were also a few cafes and small eateries inside the Leš Docks shopping area but very quiet in the evening when we went so another night we walked to the Old Port, about 15-20 minutes. There's a couple of bars on the way too. Decent size room for our stay and we had room for our 2 large suitcases without feeling crammed. It was my birthday when we arrived and staff had put some balloons and deco in our room along with some lavender and soap which was a lovely touch. It would have been good to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We were able to leave our luggage after check out for a couple of hours which was handy.
