Excellent location, the nearest metro 5 minutes walk, convenient connection to Saint-Charles railway station. The Old Port is a 15-minute walk along the famous Rue Canebières. Friendly staff, cozy lobby and terrace in the courtyard. I booked a double room for myself alone and it was the right choice, since the room is quite cramped even for one person. As for the shortcomings, there are several of them: 1.The hotel does not have an elevator, I was accommodated on the 3rd floor, climbing the spiral staircase with luggage was not easy 2.Breakfast was not worth the 12 euros I paid, a very poor choice for that money, if I knew in advance I would prefer to have breakfast at the nearest bistro. 3.Despite the fact that the hotel is non-smoking, there was a distinct strong smell of tobacco in my room, my clothes became saturated with this smell overnight, it was terrible.

Mini refrigerator in rooms. Close walk to eateries. Breakfast was a plus and the ambience was peaceful. A great way to start the day. Average cost of $12 for Uber ride to the port.Fair distance to other must see scenic locations. Whole we were I was there there were riots every night. Safe during the day, beat to stay indoors before sunsets.

A small little hotel, rooms spotless, bed very very comfy, excellent location, staff very friendly, and the breakfast was rather nice too, ideal hotel for a short break, tram a 2 minute walk to take you into city centre or old port for exploration

Property was clean, staff helpful, breakfasts excellent. WiFi on 2nd floor poire. Would stay there again.

Overpriced for what they offer. Especially given that the wifi didn't work. Don't trust the photos. Unless you pay for the extra-comfort rooms you will be disappointed... even though this is France and the rooms are typically small.

Typically not one to share on these, but just want to make sure that everyone gets a full picture before booking like we did. Firstly, was given rude service from the first night (will say we checked in later towards the night so I will give her that). But when asked to show us how to lock the door (door was broken and needed to be checked out) and turn on the air conditioning…she threw her hands up with frustration and asked if she really needed to follow us upstairs. Later on, we learned that our bathroom shower did not drain, the shower and bathroom was one giant floor area meaning there was nothing to stop the water from flowing across the whole bathroom. We stopped the faucet every 2 minutes to ensure that it wouldn’t overflow into the room, but yet it still did across most of the suite. When asked to receive more towels and to let her know our issues, we were told that we just need to use it less and we’re given a couple hand towels to clean up the mess. We were a little upset with the way we were treated…it seemed like we were more of an inconvenience than a welcomed guest. Will add that the difference was night in day with workers we encountered in the morning. If I was looking into this place, I would just make sure to double check the conditions and what you are booking in terms of rooms (our own fault on that one with not checking the images to what type of room we booked). And maybe try to avoid checking in towards the night time.

A tidy but also tiny room and bathroom. No elevator, a bit expensive for what it is but alright for one night. Nice and helpful staff ad the reception though. We had the room facing the inner courtyard, so it was actually quiet.

The Hotel Azure is well-situated, clean, comfortable, and has an extremely friendly staff. I regularly stay at this hotel and always have an excellent stay! It's nice to stay in a boutique hotel with a very personalized service (instead of staying in a chain hotel that is bland and unassuming). I highly recommend the Azure if you are coming to visit M****ille!
