Riad Amirkesh and Pool

Location: Decent location but nothing particularly convenient or special. Cleanliness: Overall cleanliness was below expectations. Facilities: Basic facilities that felt limited and poorly managed. Service: The service was extremely disappointing—another guest forcefully tried to open my room door early in the morning, which was very frightening. Despite contacting the property immediately, I received no timely response, and the situation was not taken seriously at all. I would not recommend staying here.

Tbh a little far from the city center, have to walk about 20minutes there. But the motor is convenient and cheap. The room is clean and the staff is friendly

I am extremely disappointed by my experience at your property. Before my arrival, I was asked whether I had a European passport, and when I said I was Moroccan, I was told that I was not allowed to stay and should cancel my booking. Later, I was told I could stay only if I checked in discreetly so that nobody would see me. During my stay, I was also denied the same freedom to use the facilities that other guests enjoyed, including access to the pool. As a paying guest, I found it humiliating to be treated differently because of my nationality. I paid the same price as everyone else and expected equal treatment, respect, and access to the services included in my booking.

The room and the premise were clean, but the pool was a bit far from our room in the complex (5 min walk, but through the streets and restaurants… not ideal is swimwear). Location was good, obviously not in the medina, but close enough. We were not confortable coming back too late because of the dark streets we had to get through in the medina to get back (10-15 min walk to get to restaurants and souks). Ayoub, our host was really responsive through Whatsapp, nothing to say about his service! Excellent. Amenities were ok, except for the Wi-Fi which was worthless. Overall satisfied!

This is. Great riad if you are looking for budget friendly accommodation away from the central medina. It’s clean and comfortable but the pool is not close by so don’t expect it to be right there. It’s also quite tricky haggling for taxis in and out of town. However, the hosts are wonderful and very helpful- even printed my boarding pass and arranged taxis for us.
