Turunc Resort Hotel

16th - 28th October 2023 Large hotel in the village of TURUNC and what a lovely place to visit. 1.45 transfer from Dalaman airport. Large complex, plenty of food options and snacks everywhere throughout the day, you will not go hungry. We had no issues with the food or drink. Staff all friendly, entertainment team work hard to keep you entertained day & night but leave you to it if your not interested. Evening entertainment is a little late in my opinion and could do with being brought forward an hour or so. Maybe use of a live musician once a week to give the team a break and offer a bit more variety. Halet was our favourite member from the entertainment team, he was always smiling, making an effort to say hello and talk with people, great humour, great guy. Not once did we struggle for a sun bed at any of the pools or on the private beach. Hotel clean & tidy, minor wear and tear in rooms but nothing to stress about. We had room 5302, 5th floor with access to lift. family room with amazing view of pool, beach and cove. Cleaned and water restocked daily. On site water park consisting of about 6 slides with own bar, open for 2 hours a day due to low season but this was plenty to be honest. Plenty of shops with good quality fakes, better than those in Marmaris. Pubs & restaurants in the village and taxi boats / trips available. Water sports on site too as well a path up the mountain, this path could do with a rope or the path reconstructed to assist others that may need help getting up. The sea was crystal clear and lovely to swim in, plenty of fish to catch. Minor things, lighting in room could be better, pool table needed on site. Checked out at 1200 and prices to keep room were outrageous, especially as hotel was quiet, we checked out and later used a shower room to clean up before night flight. WI-FI a little temperament in places, stronger in lobby, by the pools but we struggled in room. Had to re-enter passport number to connect several times, it cuts you off when you lock your phone. Everywhere accepts Turkish Lirah, euros & English Pounds.

Perios Beach House - Adults Only

I am currently staying at this hotel, and I must say that it left me with mixed feelings. On one hand, the design and ambiance of the hotel were simply breathtaking. The sophistication and beauty of the rooms were in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment, creating a truly immersive experience. The location, too, was unparalleled, and the hotel made the best use of its prime position. However, despite these positives, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the service provided by the staff. Communication between the hotel staff and guests was noticeably lacking. Important updates and events were only announced on Instagram, leaving many staff members uninformed about the happenings within the hotel. This lack of coordination resulted in confusion and frustration as we found ourselves unaware of available amenities or the current menu offerings. One of the major drawbacks was the disinterest shown by the staff towards the guests. While the hotel was exclusively for adults, the adjacent beach seemed to attract people from all over, which impacted the serene and exclusive atmosphere. To add to the disappointment, the hotel staff paid little attention to the beachgoers, appearing disengaged and uninterested in catering to their needs. It was disheartening to observe the lack of personal touch and genuine care that should be expected from a luxury establishment. The music experience at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the pool area offered a perfect and relaxing musical backdrop, the beach area suffered from inconsistencies. On some days, loud disco music with heavy bass blared as early as 8:00 in the morning, disrupting any hopes of tranquility. On other days, pleasant and soothing summery tunes would play, befitting a 5-star relaxation haven. This inconsistency in the musical atmosphere added to the overall inconsistency of the hotel's identity. It is evident that a considerable amount of thought had been put into the hotel's design, but unfortunately, the same level of consideration does not seem to extend to defining what the hotel truly wants to be. Moreover, it is apparent that minimal effort had been invested in training the staff adequately, resulting in a lackluster guest experience. In conclusion, this hotel possesses the potential to be one of the world's finest, thanks to its exceptional location and captivating design. However, it falls short due to poor management and the disruptive activities of neighboring establishments. While I genuinely wanted to love this hotel, the issues with service, communication, and inconsistency left me feeling unsatisfied. With some improvements in management and a focus on training and coordination, this hotel could truly become a world-class destination.

Do not be put off by some of the recent bad reviews. This spotlessly clean hotel is in a prime location in a quiet, small resort with beautiful views. The staff are fantastic, the rooms spotless and the food is brilliant. The only repetitive thing about the food is the sheer choice and volume! We loved it. Yes, the hot dishes do tend to cool off a bit over time but that's just inevitable. We mainly stuck to the freshly cooked and replenished barbecued food at dinner (I had gorgeous sea bream twice during our stay!) and the amazing Turkish salads, dips and other temptations were delicious. There is literally something for everyone but if you are looking for meat pies and bacon sandwiches I suggest you stay in the UK. On the negative side, the alcohol was disappointing, especially the cocktails. However, my husband loved the beer and I found the wine served at dinner benefited from the addition of sparkling water! The rum and cokes weren't bad either. Overall we loved the place and would recommend it to guests who don't mind a scary trip over the mountains and are reasonably fit due to the number of steps up and down from the pool area to the loos. Some of the entertainment is not for everyone but the staff try really hard to make everyone happy without being pushy. Yes, the beach is rather overcrowded with sun loungers but at least they are plentiful. To conclude, we send our thanks to all the staff for a great holiday.

Turunc Bay Conti Boutique Hotel

I have been coming to Conti hotel for two years. I was very pleased when I first came in the summer of 2022. I was very satisfied this year. The employees are extremely attentive and relevant. We wanted to change our room due to the years coming from outside, they changed our room without any problems. I especially thank Mr. Yusuf. He is an extremely caring, sympathetic and gentleman employee. I think the breakfast is sufficient. Rooms ***et comfortable and clean. Sheets, blankets and towels ***et were clean. I wish you continued success.
The Diplomat Hotel

Set on a beautiful bay right on the beach the diplomat hotel has been a stay to remember. There is something special and magical about this little place. The food was amazing and the service on the beach was fantastic. Loved the beautiful evenings at the bar watching sunset and one of the nights we were treated to live local music making our experience even more wonderful. I will never forget my stay here and will be sure to return one day.

Hotel ***et was nice. Price/Performance hotel. ***et meets your requirements. The sea and the location are very beautiful. ***Meat is successful in meals. Minus: The beach is small and the number of sun loungers is sometimes insufficient. I think it would be good if working young people smiled a little. We are on holiday, surly staff can be demoralizing)))
Pilos Suites

We stayed in an apartment (or suite) 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, all rooms were beautifully decorated, we had everything we needed. Initially stayed for 5 nights but loved it so much extended to 7 nights. Food is lovely, breakfast is a leisurely affair, ordered lunch by the pool, never ate here in the evening as preferred to go further afield into the Village where there are plenty of lovely places to eat. Service could be a bit hit and miss with the language barrier but we managed to eventually get what we ordered. Like others I almost didn't want to leave a review (?) as we'll be coming back for sure and would like to keep it a bit secret !! It's a very laid back vibe, nothing too much trouble, sat by the pool watching the Mountain goats run down to their keeper (if that's the right word) was happy not to venture out in the day time, just wanted to chill out. Reception would book taxi's for you if needed and they run a free transfer down the hill to the village should you need it - we'd of gone back again in a few weeks if we had the chance but sadly Turkey is now off the list, such a shame, look forward to seeing you at least a couple of times next year - Just perfect !!!!
