We have stayed at many greene kings and this is one of the top tier, food and beer is just as you should expect and so is the service and rooms. Special thanks to Elisha who made it feel like home from home. Thanks to all the staff at Fieldhead Hotel for an excellent stay.

Excellent food and service, friendly staff, it was a very warm and welcoming place. I had a lovely conversation with the team leader and Would throughly recommend and looking forward to going back with friends and family. Kind regards Brian and Heidi.

Hadn't been here for quite some time and was very pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Decor is clean and modern. Staff very friendly. The food was really good, served nicely and very tasty. I had the Sea Bass Risotto and was surprised how good it was. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

The eggs for breakfast are amazing!! Sunday lunch tastes completely home cooked and it feels just like a lovely, contemporary ran, local pub serving amazing food. It can get quite busy at the weekend but if you book in advance, never had a problem!

Sunday lunch was really good the veggies were cooked well and the gravy was delicious, we also had starters that look and tasted great and the staff were teale quick and helpful , we go a lot of places for Sunday lunch and this was one of the best ones

was welcomed at reception check in was straight forward .. room was very clean to a high standard bed was very comtable had a good night sleep. food from the restaurant was outstanding we had a lovely evening meal well presented food was amazing breakfast in morning was a variety of hot and cold with fresh orange , tea and coffee . would highly recommend this hotel if you was staying in this area.

Went for lunch (4) as we'd been before and enjoyed it. Our server was excellent but we felt sorry for him as so many items were off the menu. Whilst the food was tasty it wasn't that hot, My main came without its wilted spinach and the other 3 mains (burgers) came with so few chips we ordered had to order more which we were charged for. The Eton Mess sundae had been replaced with chocolate brownie sundae and they had run out of small rose prosecco. It was a disappointing time through no fault of the kitchen or serving staff. Someone had failed to order sufficient supplies in time.

The spacious room was comfortable, warm and quiet with a King Size bed, large TV and classic decoration. I appreciated the combination of a bath with shower over and loads of hot water. All the staff were lovely and went out of their way to make my stay perfect with special mention to Roxanne and Miriam on reception. Breakfast was delicious with Full English and lighter options available and the dinner menu was extensive with great dishes and a welcome pint of Guinness.
