I arrived in the evening of Monday the 12th, only to find that the reception was closed and that I couldn't check in, luckily I was able to stay the night with a friend before she returned to Scotland. Eventually, via email, I managed to find the reception and was told that I should have called. I tried calling and it rang out. The details sent by Opodo were for 2 people even though I was traveling solo, so then prices had to be recalculated for the tax. I also had to pay for towels, and I don't mean beach towels but hand and bath towels, which should be standard. There also wasn't any soap in the apartment, and only 1 roll of toilet paper (probably so that you have to use their supermarket). The complex advertises fast wi-fi, which is not true at all. You have to be close to the reception office for the wi-fi, and 3 of the days it failed to work. I really feel that my first trip to Sardegna would have been better if it wasn't for my stay at Villaggio Marineledda and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
