Hotel Sogo Malate

Every time i need to stay in Manila it always goes to Sogo Malate, you've not to worry about parking that's the most important to me.. Well I'm a frugal person😁 i just need a shut eye and a nice hot shower, nothing more. Angel's pizza,BPI & Mc Donalds are just around the corner ..

The service was excellent 👌🏻, The crews are very attentive , The location is great and it's accessible in a convenient store, McDonald's and near gasoline station. The rooms smell like roads because of cigarette smoke Btw We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights..😅 .

I paid for 4 days and nights, from the moment I entered the room there was a sense of doom. The building is a maze of hallways about one meter wide, our room had one way in and out. It wasn't at all like the photos, it was a 8x8 fire trap. If there's a fire, forget about it, absolutely no escape. There's no TV entertainment, only 3 channels, one of them porn. Theres no air conditioning, no hot water for the shower. Like I said, I paid for 4 night, stayed one, left the next day without even asking for a refund. I felt blessed just getting out safe

The overall stay was just good. We really booked here for the services and the foods but this time, it's quite disappointing. I hope babawi sila next stay.

I like this hotel because its very clean, spacious, not far from my destination place and the hotel staff is very hospitable and easy to deal with..

We work in the hospitality industry ourselves, so we were disappointed with the level of service we received from the staff. They were neither accommodating nor helpful during our stay. Upon check-in, we requested an iron for our uniforms, but despite multiple follow-ups, we were unable to use one until checkout. Before leaving at 5 PM, we even informed the reception that we would be happy to borrow it later once we returned. However, when we came back, our request still had not been addressed, and we were told that the hotel only had two irons available. Even if there were limited irons, proper follow-up with the previous guest using it could have been done so other guests could also use it. We stayed for 22 hours and only needed the iron for about 5–10 minutes. There were also several false promises from the reception staff, and it seemed there was a lack of proper endorsement or communication between shifts.
