The hotel is well located. Quality of mattresses is poor. The place is quite neat and clean. There is a big problem of communication since the staff is not able to communicate in a language other than local. People without complementary breakfast have a problem. The resort was excellent, however, it lacked proper maintenance. The building and rooms were quite old. The ambiance was delightful, and there was a pool available. The play area for children was a bit small but still enjoyable. The breakfast, which was supposed to be complimentary, was charged to me, so it's advisable to verify this before making a reservation. The main reason i chose this resort was for its access to the kaveri river. I was able to take a dip and relax by the river, which was a significant advantage. Although the water near the resort appeared slightly unclean, it is understandable as human actions are beyond their control. Overall, it was a positive experience for those seeking a budget-friendly stay.

One of the best hotels in Mysore. I decided to stay here for my special day - birthday and the hotel ensured I had an amazing time. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The service was polite and friendly. Staff at reception were very warm. The place was brimming with guests. There was a function going on in its banquet hall too. All of it was being managed well. The highlight was the food. Scrumptious and tasty spread. So many varieties to order from and we hogged like there was no end. All of it was lip smacking. Ample parking space available too. True to its name, the place was indeed grand and gave us a lot of peace during our stay. It is so close to so many attractions in Mysore and is a total value for money. I highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Mysore.

The rooms were clean . The washroom was huge and complimentary breakfast was delicious and great portion sizes. The ground floor has a great veg restaurant. And there are couple of non veg restaurants and cafes nearby. Excellent location. Con Nothing as advertised. I booked rooms with ”view of the road” which literally has just a slice of view of some highway through a neighborhood.Staffs are reluctant to provide any service, we have to remind them couple of times to get another towel as there was only one towel provided.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Location is calm residential area. Nice. With your own vehicle location would be fine. Coming to room, bit disappointed as we thought it's a studio apartment in real sense. However it's just a room with attached bathroom and in the name of kitchenette, an oven, induction cooker and few utensils. No sink, nothing to wash utensils etc. No dining space or table. Note this cannot be categorised as studio apartment, it's fooling us. Other average items were dirty carpets, no proper tv channels, old towels. They didn't clean the room, neither did the bed, nor refilled items like water, tea/coffee sachets etc. even we stayed for 2 nights and was expecting cleaned room every day. How can it be service apartment? Other irritating factor is every sound from outside coming in, so would be from inside out. They seems overly concerned on light usage. Security came and told that we forgot to switch off bathroom light in the night it seems. Not recognising the factors like we didn't use AC at all in the night and out of 24hrs mostly will be out. That's the service mentally for you that for such small thing they complaint to the guest. WiFi strength is extremely poor. My advice, don't go thinking it's any apartment, if you fine with a room in a calm area away from City hussel, then for a night it's fine. Hi

Hotel location is good, the intersection is Pizza Hut. I booked a city view room, but it seems that there are not many cities. The sanitation is not bad, the water is provided, and a refrigerator that is not so frozen is also provided. I tried a Kung Pao Chicken at the hotel, as shown below, with a tax of 310 rupees. Hahaha taste really dare not compliment, so I suggest you order Chinese restaurants or choose special Chinese food. Other services are good and newspapers are also available.

This hotel is bang on the highway next to a cafe coffee day. The reception is good and the room is neat and comfortable. Basic necessities like drinking water, hot water, bath towel and soap is provided by the reception at no extra charge. The bed was comfortable. All in all a good stay at reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel as a stopover for the night.

GGuest UserLike the Brindavan garden is now past its glory the hotel staff are taking the hotel the same way, down hill. The reception staff Ms Pallavi was rather rude and obstinate & uncooperative. The restaurant staff again was obstinate in every request for food. We made the mistake of going for meals package and they failed in that . No buffet was available as the occupant was low. Set menu was so set that a request to change an item from A to B was too much of an ask We have paid for children ( 10 years) but they don’t provide extra bed for children and we were asked to be paid extra for bed. When we tried to reason out the answer is you should have booked direct with us! But we had booked on a web site that claimed to be the site for Royal Orchid.It’s all messed up and sure shot that the hotel is going down the drain Remember the at the hotel charges a 5 star rate more than any 5 start in Mysore city and ensures that they provide 1 star service as descended above Long and shot AVOID this place

GGuest UserWas there for a day. Had visited shrirangapatana to immerse my father's ashes in the sangam. Location was good and accessible; the staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly; the room was also great, with good furnishings and fixtures. In terms of feedback, wish the hotel could at-least provide one bottle of water per person rather than one bottle per room. Also, some basic amenities which are usually found in new hotels these days (which this one is) such as soap, shampoo and conditioner (in the form of permanent dispensers placed in the bathroom) would be good. The hotel does not provide food services, so nothing to comment there.

GGuest UserWe were a group of 32 adults, stayed for a day/night. Full marks for hospitality, very nice, courteous people, especially the property ***ager Ms Sowjanya and the owner Mr Devaraj, both give a very dedicated service. Rooms are very clean, spacious with good ventilation. Food is very good. Ambiance is very good. For activities a good swimming pool and a TT table is there. All staff are very good and very courtous. Approach is also very good by both road and rail. Finally value for money.

Dear Bianca and Staff, I returned to Young's island knowing well your resort I have stayed many times over many years whilst visiting SVG on business locally This time I again brought my wife yet this time for some post pandemic relief via your very special milieu of R&R Your resort is best described as quiet and old world elegance This may not be for everyone, but for those seeking consistently good cuisine, easy access to the pool, the bars or even an easy quick visit to town, Young's island is the 'picture perfect' venue I noticed a rant on your reviews about firewood/campfires and allied comments What are they talking about? They came from SE Asia seeking a campfire??? Come to Canada where today in February in Toronto it is -26c and as such I would understand this rather strange request a bit more! Re music from 'across the water' yes indeed some establishments in St Vincent play local music in the evenings as it is the very nature of Caribbean culture to do so It is found on every Caribbean nation, an enjoyment of life that includes music, food and dance Embrace it When you get home is will be a part of the nostalgia ! Young's Island is a warm and welcoming resort that has been in existence for many years. I notice many like I return to this sincere and honest atmosphere Our holiday was not long enough !
