I rarely write such a long review, but because this stay was a great and unforgettable experience, I wanted to share it with you. We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights in late September (I think it was 24-27). The check-in process was smooth and the front desk employee (Frankie) was very friendly. After learning that we specially chose this hotel to celebrate our birthday, we were even more impressed. It was very thoughtful to give us a small surprise and a birthday card on our birthday. I would like to say thank you in advance. The rooms are as good as the photos provided by the hotel on the app. I personally think the various designs are very practical and reasonable. And the scenery is more beautiful than imagined. You can see the sunrise on one side of the room, and you can see the sunset on the other side. The view is as shown in the attached picture. I am really grateful to Frankie for arranging such a room for us. By the way, the TVs in the living room and room can play videos from mobile phones. We like it very much. The room is fully equipped with kitchen utensils (to my surprise). The small refrigerator includes ice trays and crisper compartments, a microwave, an induction cooker, a toaster, a coffee machine, an electric kettle, and a dishwasher. It feels good to use. Apart from a trash can in the toilet, there is only one located under the wash basin in the kitchen area. Every time you throw out trash, you have to open the cabinet door to pull it out. It would be much more convenient if there was an extra small trash can in the living room. One of the toiletries they provided impressed me deeply. I personally think they are very useful and I can’t help but mention them here. In addition, the hotel provides a free all-you-can-eat breakfast, which is mainly European style, Full English Breakfast/Yogurt/ham/cheese/bread plus drinks, which tastes good. There are several paid parking lots near the hotel. The prices vary depending on the distance. It is recommended that drivers search for them online first. In my impression, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, which should be quite convenient. We tried walking to the city center, which was about thirty minutes away.

The room itself was nice and clean. Reception basically can not see people, wifi password can not find people to ask. I heard loud noises from next door from 8:00 to 8:00 in the morning. The whole hotel is very abnormal, giving people a very unsafe feeling. Downstairs is the flagship store of gay bar street.

If first impressions are your thing, the Kimpton Clocktower will take your breath away. I arrived in the afternoon after a drive from Oxford, and from the moment the automatic doors opened in the lobby, I was amazed. The decor is beautiful and classic. Mixing an old world style with modern touches. I had a slight hiccup at the front desk since most hotels have become cashless. I’m thankful for the front desk manager that came over and gave me the customer service I expected from this hotel since the other attendant was quite cold and lacking the type of communication it takes to be at the front desk. Once that was settled I went to the room, which was stunning. It was spacious and they really spared no detail to make it feel luxurious. Not to mention it was extremely clean. The bathroom was spotless which is always the first place I look. The hotel is located quite central to everything. Restaurants and shops are at the doorstep, and it’s just a short walk to the city center. I would definitely stay in this hotel again…and you should too.

The hotel was very easy to locate, polite staff, room and robe looked quite smaller than expected but everything was great. Had a lovely time and really enjoyed the breakfast. Will definitely come back

After a slight hiccup of not being able to get in.... (We had no code for the front door, or any communication there would be a code for the front door)...After calling the support number a few times finally got through and was given the entry code. Then we needed to guess what room we were staying in and the code for that door. Other people would have lost it by then but I rang back and was helped again. The room itself was just as described. Nice touch with the food left by the kettle. Shower was delightful. 10am check out was a bit early... Bit we were leaving before 10 so it didn't matter to us. But might to others. If your booking here. Make sure you have both codes before you arrive and everything will be fine.
