We came from Montana for my Granddaughters Graduation our stay of 5 days was great. The rooms are a little dated but very clean we were on the bottom floor across from the pool. The room was very quiet no noise from surrounding rooms. Ample parking, close to restaurants, gas station, Hwy 301 with easy access to shopping. The rate was great it made our trip super affordable. We enjoyed our view of lake Lovelee, the hotel offered coupons for the nearby restaurants which were very welcome. The manager was a little short with my daughter and i heard that she or someone close might have been feeding the alligator that lived at the lake. I know they were short staffed, and it might have been a bit to being overworked. Not sure about the alligator but i did get a nice video when it saw me it swam right for me. There is a fence that separates from the lake so i felt pretty safe. Don't feed the alligators and i think this would be a great place to stay.

The staff is great. Jasa and Chris were so helpful. When I checked in, the toilet wouldn't flush. Jasa offered me an opportunity to switch rooms. She also had maintenance come straight up to fix the toilet in my original room - so I stayed there. The rooms are ok, from a design/decor point of view. Air conditioning works well. Shower has good pressure. Parking is easy and convenient. The carpet, though, is, quite honestly, filthy, and not just in the guest rooms. I wear white socks. Walking across the carpet in the room left them really, really dirty. I dampened a washcloth and rubbed it over a very small section of the rug, just to test, and it was alarming. Management should, at the very least, have the carpets throughout the hotel cleaned. I know that this has been an ongoing problem, based on other online reviews. I can't recommend people stay there until that gets resolved. Also, the red chair in the room I stayed in was very dirty. I wouldn't sit in it. Once these issues are resolved, I would change my rating to 4 stars.

This was our second visit to this area to visit family and this hotel has a lot going for it -- central location near restaurants, the interstate, shops, friendly staff and atmosphere, exceptionally clean and modern guest rooms and public areas. Once again, we felt welcomed by the reception desk and rest of the staff each day as we had during our first visit last year. However, some suggested areas of improvement: 1. If snacks are from 5 - 7 p.m., have them out on time. Only happened once in a week. 2. Remind us at check-in we could have received more bottled water as Hilton Honors members, and 3.Last, but not least! Eliminate the little slips of paper that were strewn all over the hallway each day (a week for us) from the new General Manager. We felt they were a waste. If they are left on doors, they don't stay there and litter the hallway. (What if you are handicapped and cannot bend to pick it up?) Not a good image/perception, at least for us. This did not happen last time we stayed and we felt just as welcome without the litter in the hallway when you opened your door each morning. Only good as scrap paper since pens and notepads are no longer provided in rooms (perhaps because of the pandemic?). Consider alternatives, e.g., a Welcome placard/tent card on the desk in each room with the same message from the GM with her contact info should suffice, and/or have a board (electronic or otherwise) by the elevators or by the breakfast room where you can post the daily forecast and who is serving breakfast, and a daily message from the GM. We've seen this done at other hotels, conference centers, and cruise ships. You are modern in every way ... come into the 21st Century with that gesture too.

this is our 3rd or 4th time we've stayed at the quality inn bradenton fka comfort inn. we always spend a week or two in bradenton during winter, but it has been a couple of years since we've stayed here. the hotel which has the motel style outside entry room doors. the walkways, lobby, breakfast area, pool is kept very clean. our room had two queen beds, of average size, was super clean with what appeared to be new carpeting. the bathroom with shower and toilet was a smaller separate room to the sink that was outside it. beds were very comfortable. nicely furnished with microwave and refrigerator. the tv was good size, with showtime. the free breakfast was very good with eggs, sausage pattys, waffle and pancake maker. sausage gravy and biscuits was very good. average coffee. oj, fruit, cereal, etc. many copys of usa today newspaper available. we happy the usual breakfast was served during the coronavirus. not many people there, so you could even eat in the breakfast area/lobby. pool was open too. our room # 211 internet/wifi did not work very well, connection would come and go. appears this room too far from modem/router. if we were gonna stay longer, we would have asked to be moved. price just alittle high at $95 not including tax/fees, since it is far from beach(that was closed), near I-75.

Exceeded expectations 👍🏻 Upon my arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the inn’s owner. I was very happy when I entered the room to find the floors weren’t carpeted, the room was clean, I was able to get restful sleep in a very comfortable bed. Thank you, Matt Erickson, for your kind attention to my reservation and requests during my stay. In addition to Matt and the owner’s excellence, I want to give kudos to the housekeeping staff. My stay was an excellent experience and a great value. Thank you! Peggy Akrigg
