Although these apartments are basic they have everything you need with extremely friendly, helpful staff. Especially Elena at the pool cafe. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast food was buffet style which could be improved. The apartments are located at the quieter end of Stalis ***** and just across the road from the beach. It was a perfect location for us and would return to Sergiani Apts. The onsite restaurant food is very good and was one of the best we had in Stalis.

As we strolled along the vibrant streets, we stumbled upon this hidden gem that immediately caught our eye! Curiosity got the better of us, and we decided to pop in for breakfast. From the moment we entered, the friendly staff greeted us with warm smiles, creating an inviting atmosphere that felt both clean and refreshing. The food? Absolutely phenomenal! My partner indulged in a hearty full English, while I savored every bite of the delightful Cretan breakfast. What an unforgettable culinary experience! We would recommend.

Our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children stayed at the Sergiani apartments for 14 night in July/August 2024. We stayed in one of the new apartments near the swimming pool which was very tidy and clean. Nice bathroom and the air conditioning was very good. We slept so well on this holiday. The curtains completely blocked out any early morning sun. We were working remotely and the Wi-Fi was excellent. This was of great relief to us and of course the kids could make use of this. The balcony was lovely and we spent many evenings there playing cards and eating together whilst watching the sunset. We visited the pool most days and Nikos who ran the bar was a funny and friendly character and definitely did a good job of looking after his guests. The grounds of the apartments are beautifully kept. The restaurant is very popular with people even queuing at times during the more busy evening period. The prices are fair and the quality of food very good. We also had a very decent English breakfast one morning. The owner of the hotel is called Manos who we found to be friendly, calm and professional. Manos is running a great business and has many happy customers. We will visit again! We really loved it at the Sergiani. Stalida has some other lovely places to eat, a good sandy beach and that classic Greek holiday vibe. ***Tips*** The supermarkets can be expensive for certain items. If you can bring it with you, especially toiletries, sun cream etc, do so. Try and visit Mochos which is a beautiful village a few miles up in the hills. The ‘Happy Train’ goes there 3 times a week. The village of Sissi is another beautiful village, a bit more lively than Mochos but picturesque and calm. This is just a few km up the road. There is a bus stop if you walk out the back gate where the swimming pool is that goes to some of the other towns. Taxis can be a bit pricey! Finally, Enjoy! YAMAS!

After eating at the Restaurant a couple of times last year we decided to stay there this year and we weren’t disappointed. We decided to stay half board. The breakfast was varied with cereals breads and cooked. My daughter is gluten free and on our arrival gluten free bread was available. Evening meals were very varied and plentiful. The accommodation was clean updated. We enjoy the pool and plenty of beds available. The pool was never full. The pool bar was lovely. Really enjoyed the milkshakes. The Staff were very friendly and helpful and even when our flight was delayed we were greeted at 2am and was shown our room. Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

The hotel is situated on the quieter side of Stalis which suited us. It features its own restaurant which was constantly busy, not just with guests, it is very popular. We had a few meals here, breakfast, dinner and tea, All were excellent and very reasonable priced and the food was spot on. The place is immaculately clean with stunningly kept gardens. If you turn right out of the hotel there are 2 traditional tavernas and a supermarket, also a cocktail bar with hanging chairs. Turn left and just over the road is a great little cocktail bar called Ethnic Shisha Bar ran by Anton. Fantastic place, don't let "Shisha Bar" put you off, we went in daily and never seen anyone using them. Lovely chilled place and cheap, the cocktails were very good, same one further up the ***** was double in price and no where near as nice. Keep waling up around 5 mins and you will come to Anatolia beachfront restaurant, nice views but can be pricey, it starts to get busy from there along the ***** with bars and restaurants. Back to the hotel - we stayed in one of the new apartment blocks (56) Self catering. Sitting room with small kitchen, plenty of cutlery, decent sized cups and glasses , 2 sofas that can be used as beds and air con (paid separate we paid 70 for the week for both bedroom and living room, these are pre-set at 22 which was fine, you can have just 1 room for 50 or both for 70) the bedroom was a double with 2 separate mattress pushed together. Lots of storage and a big mirror. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of hot water and good shower. All very modern. Nice balcony to sit out for an evening drink but as you are at the back the main road can become noisy in the day but didn't spoil anything as we were hardly there then. We only stayed a week and we had our towels changed 3 or 4 times and the room was mopped and cleaned. Very impressed. The apartments were just by the pool, good size, "plenty" of sunbeds and shade if needed. Didn't have to get up once to put towels down, although there was a couple of people who did there was never any problems getting a bed, The only place we have been to and you didn't have to worry. NIKOS ran the pool bar which also provides snacks at reasonable price. You can get a Gyros and a large beer or wine for less than a tenner. The pool area again is spotless, the music isn't too loud and Nikos is a top man.

THIS was further over than I have ever stayed in Stalis, close to the border with Malia, but I had a lovely compact apartment. It had a large sleeping area, its own bathroom with shower and toilet and a small kitchen area with cooker, kettle and fridge. Best of all was the storage space with a rail full of coat hangers to take all my shirts and plenty of drawers for everything else. There were also a number of handy power points so I could recharge my phone and camera batteries while double doors led out on to a little balcony area with a table and two chairs from which to relax and enjoy mountain views. Those of you planning on visiting the Sergiani need to be aware of one critically important thing. The heat. Stalis had the hottest start to June that anyone could remember with temperatures regularly 40C+. It reached 44C at one point while I was there with 47C on the south coast. Incredibly people seemed to ignore this at least until there were several deaths, a host of hospital and doctor's surgery admissions for heatstroke, rashes and exhaustion and people collapsing in restaurants, so take care and cover up during the hottest part of the day. Sergiani actually has large parts of its outdoor restaurant area, where they serve excellent meals, under cover to provide some escape from the sun while the site also has a swimming pool while the gardens are lovely. I didn't use air conditioning because initially there was some doubt about how long the heat would last. By the time everyone realised it was here to stay I only had three or four days left and it wasn't worth the expense of about 50E per week. Service at Sergiani was very good and my room was so well maintained that I made a point of finding the cleaner and giving her a decent tip. The centre of Stalis is a 20-25 minute walk which is always pleasant because of the variety of things to see along the way from restaurants, bars and cocktail lounges to bakeries, a little church and even a perfumery. All in all Sergiani guided by the friendly Manos really looked after me and I would have no hesitation in going back.

Once again, thank you to everyone at Sergiani for making our holiday so special. A relaxing stay with lots of fun and laughs by the pool; nothing is ever too much trouble. Thanks especially to Nikos and Manolis.
