Just got back from a week at the reymar, very clean hotel, food was lovely something different every night alot of fish dishes but if like us you aren't a fish eater plenty of other options, desserts were to die for! Room was clean and cleaners came in regular to change towels, I will say that there was only 1 plug socket in bedroom and 1 in bathroom (not ideal) but we got by. Entertainment was Ok not really our cup of tea but we did watch a few of the acts, the older guests absolutely loved it and were up dancing good for them! Location is brilliant, beach across the road, and the ***** full of shops and bars so plenty to do, for the price we paid I cannot give any negatives for this hotel, fantastic team well done reymar!

We went as a family of 5, for a football tournament, they don’t cater for large families, so I was in one room with 2 of my children, my partner was in another room with 1 of the other children, which was round the corner at opposite ends of the corridor. My child was stuck in a lift for 1/2 hour. The food was average and the pork was served up roar making people ill. When told about the under cooked pool, they just laughed and carried on serving it. They accused the children of broken a down pipe, and tried to keep all our deposits. And to charge the children €15 each as well for the deposit is steep. There is nothing for children to do. So maybe they shouldn’t advertise they take children or even let large football teams go who are doing the local tournaments. The place is shocking all round. And would avoid. The rooms are damaged before you even get in there!!!!!!!!!!!

In Santa Susana, this hotel is not the best location, a little distance from the sea, shopping center! But the hotel's service, dining, absolutely commendable

First of all, I must emphasize that it has always been my favorite coastal hotel. The cleaning is very good, and more attention is paid. It is worth mentioning that I went to all-encompassing, the bar waiters were very good, especially a young man named Harvey, who was very good! As for the food, it is obviously not 10/10, but for me it is the best hotel buffet I have ever been to (freshly made breakfast pasta is great), in addition there is a bakeware and wok area for you They prepared a lot of things like morning tortillas, meat, etc. Except for very friendly people like Mar or Araceli, I can't make any mistakes in the buffet area. The fact is that they are sometimes very patient with certain customers. Finally, thank you Alexis for his kindness and willingness to help at any time!

We stayed here for 5 nights before a cruise . We were travelling with myself and hubbie and 2 kids and in another room was my mum and dad . I was a bit hesitant before arriving as some of the reviews were poor but I needn’t have worried. The staff are amazing and so friendly . The rooms were modern and beds comfy . Lovely bathroom also . They supply body wash and shampoo and have a decent hairdryer . You can also borrow an iron from Reception if you need one. Hotel was full when we stayed . Food - we were half board so had breakfast and dinner . My son is vegetarian and I can honestly say there was such a great range of food to choose from and a lot more than you would expect for a 3/4 star hotel . The food hall manager was amazing and all of the staff we encountered were so friendly . For breakfast you can get free tea , coffee and juices . For dinner no drinks are included but once you are at table a waiter will come along and see if you want anything . We usually asked for a few diet cokes and they came From bottles and very good prices. You then get a receipt and you pay on the way out of the restaurant . Beach- 2/3 mins walk away . 8 euros for a sun lounger but please barter as they let us have 6 for 30 euros. Beach was very choppy whilst we were here so young children will need full supervision. Pool- only my 7 year old daughter went into the pool normally late afternoon and she had no complaints at all . Was rarely anyone else in there. Location - fab location . Short walk away from the local town with loads of shops. Even though we went end of October I would say about a third of the shops were open but still more than enough. Washing- if you need any clothes washed the hotel does offer a service but this was expensive . There is a laundrette at the petrol garage 2 mins away from the hotel and a 5kg wash costs 5 euros and a 7.5kg wash cost 7.5 euros . The washing liquid and conditioner automatically goes into the machine . Please don’t let any of the bad reviews put you off. We aren’t fussy but we also wouldn’t stay in a poor hotel and this was such a great hotel for an amazing price . If you are considering booking this hotel then please do . You won’t regret it and please ask if you have any questions . We also didn’t see anyone begging for money as a past review had mentioned and felt very safe in the area . As said above we found all staff very friendly even when we had to change rooms as the set up wasn’t as we had booked but this was done very quickly and no complaints at all .

The hotel is pleasant to stay, very helpful staff and great breakfast. But the wifi sucks, it’s really terrible. it’s probably the last hotel in the world with blankets on the bed (pls. change it to comforters it’s really before 2nd world war that people used blankets). very annoying that people claim one of the too less relax beds at the pool with their towels before breakfast and then don’t show up for a while and the hotel staff should act against this but nothing is being done against this.

There are free parking spaces and paid parking spaces at the door, which are suitable for less than 4 Euros a day. The opposite is the police station, and security is absolutely assured. There is a large supermarket within 100 meters, which is not to be worn! Breakfast is good, relatively rich relative to this price. There is no quality degradation due to the off-season. There is a swimming pool next to the restaurant. The front desk is very welcoming, a bit of a trip, English is better than me! The tourist tax is two people in 1 euro. The room has a hairdryer and no hot water

Lovely hotel in a guite location, right beside train station so great base to explore and 1 hour from Barcelona, beautiful beach but not great for swimming or children as it has a very step shelf. More activities further long beach in Santa Suzanna which is 20 minute walk and more lively. Hotel itself was very clean lovely rooms (ours had sea view which is spectacular) small but practical. All inclusive was great, food was exceptional with great variety again though not for smaller children. I only have one complaint/issue, as we were all inclusive we paid 2 euro for a drinks card, refundable at checkout, this is guite common, however we were served drinks in plastic glasses which again is fine while by the pool but not on an evening while sitting in main bar, but staff would not provide proper glasses for us, also cocktails on the all inclusive menu are a measure of alcohol with a pre made mixer from a machine but a paying customer gets a somewhat proper cocktail, when we addressed this staff told us paying customers only get a proper cocktail and are permitted to use glass and we had not paid!! also we might drink more, now the age of our group range from 40's to 70's so by no means big drinkers. The moral of this story is and which staff didn't seem to care about was that we had indeed paid for our food and drink, we paid in advance by adding that option to our booking pre travel and this can be expensive so all customers regardless should get the same drinks in proper glasses on an evening. Most staff are lovely and friendly but like anywhere there were a few with no personalities. Would return to the area though, maybe even to the hotel!!

Theres no denying the staff at front desk are receptive, attentive, friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. The location is superb. The dining area allows you to look over at the promenade....But I wish there were some regulation / international standard with the star rating of a hotel, especially when you chose the hotel based on star rating. I would not consider Hotel Horitzo to be a 4 star hotel, compared to other hotels I've stayed at ranging from 2 star -5 star. This is due to the sheer fact that the rooms were fairly basic. A mini fridge with no snacks, drinks or appliances. There is also no water readily available for guests throughout the day. Just breakfast and maybe dinner. Upon that said, there is a small supermarket called Condis 3 minutes from the hotel, as soon as you exit the hotel, immediate right up the road till the zebra crossing left on the right. . Not far at all. The price of the hotel is based on its location. Directly across the beach. That's it's main selling point. Some rooms may come with a power shower, very impressive others do not. If you do not get a beach front view you most likely will end up looking at the local area ( residents flats). Not picturesque at all. The variety for breakfast is satisfactory. Quite limited. There are few restaurants along the beach front, dotted around the beach front which enables you to experience Blanes day and night. Blanes is a lovely place for couples, family and the elderly. I'd have had my expectations matched if it said 3 stars.
