We paid for a bigger room type and the next day while we were having breakfast they came to tell us we had to move and only offered a smaller room with no daylight. They said its because there was a water problem in that room, but we didn't experience any problem. It seemed like a made up story but we moved. 2 hours later we walked by the old room and saw there was a family with children staying there, so the hotel lied to us and there was no problem because they needed to give the room that we paid for to another family and we were only 2 persons. We complained about it and they offered a free trip. Organizing the boat transfer from airport to hotel was also very stressful because the hotel doesn't answer to messages, when they do, you get different information every time and in the end they said I have to contact them one day before arrival.
The only nice thing about this hotel is the beach setting, very nice and tranquil and with an impressive reef for snorkeling.

We loved to spend our holidays in Ostrov hotel, emphasising the kindness and professionalism of the whole staff. The location is superb, breakfast excellent, rooms are clean and have everything to make our stay comfortable. The only thing which is recommended to be improved is internet connection with slow wi-fi.

Very nice stay with clean and spacious rooms, very friendly staff, good service, nice surroundings and really nice and quiet beach area with great snorkelling (sharks, turtles and lots more). As far as we can tell the best place to stay on Ukulhas.

Ostrov Hotel is a really nice hotel in Ukulhas. From the beginning, the manager was really helpful organizing my transfer from Male with a speedboat. My room was large, with wooden floor, a huge bathroom and a lovely patio (it saved my life during a few rainy days!). The room was cleaned daily. Considering the price I paid, it was really value for money. Moreover, breakfast was complimentary with my booking which included a large buffet with eggs, cakes, fruits, bread, jam, milk and cereals. I really loved it! The restaurant of the hotel is very good too: I really liked the tuna rice and the grilled fish which I highly recommend! Finally, the guys at the hotel are very nice and friendly, which made my trip even better!

We were staying at the hotel in December with 3 children. Everything was absolutely perfect, the service was amazing, the best we have met, very friendly people, they created a wonderful family atmosphere. The hotel organizes amazing trips, we were on a manta ray trip, which was a great experience, and on night fishing, and after that we can eat out catch at the hotel restaurant, was really delicious π Food in the restaurant is really the best on island, we tried a lot of restaurants but Ostrov is the best. Thanks for everything and we can really recommend this beautiful place π will come back next year π

My vacation at the Ostrov hotel was excellent, the room has everything you need to stay, the room is large in size with large windows and even has a balcony and there is also a small room with a table and chairs, the air conditioner works well and this is very important for a country with a hot climate, the bathroom has cold and hot water, there is also a refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, safe, kettle and necessary accessories for tea, comfortable bed with bedside tables, wardrobe with hangers, mirror. Nothing is broken, everything is in good condition. I didn't like the wallpaper in the room, it makes the room look old style, it's better to think of another design without wallpaper. The hotel is very quiet and has everything you need within reach: shops, a pharmacy, travel agencies where you can book excursions, the beach is a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel. Friendly and courteous staff at the hotel. A good administrator who will help solve problems that have arisen, once I had a problem with water, the shower ran out of water and this problem was solved very quickly. The administrator will show and tell the necessary information about the hotel and answer all questions. Good service - every day the room is cleaned. The hotel has a kitchen where they cook deliciously I liked all the dishes.

The host and the staff were all really friendly, they helped us with everything and they always looked out for our every wish. We ordered breakfast and dinner and it was all great. They cleaned the room every day and brought fresh towels.

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was perfect, the staff was amazing, always ready to help. The restaurant and food was very good, and the beachvand reef right in ftont was great! Also the hotel is located on the nicest part of the island

Best hotel on Feridoo, The hotel manager showed us around, showed us everything we needed to know. Nice people, funny , speak English so don't be afraid to ask them. They know everything you can ask them from A to Z.
