Checking-in was a breeze, but they do not bother helping with moving luggages. The doorman would just look at you.
The room was big. The corridor isn’t carpeted, so you can hear doors slamming and people talking outside your room rather clearly. They do have comfortable bed and pillows though.
There was no safety deposit box in my room. Called housekeeping, and a chap brought in the metal box... while hugging it. The box was light. He just placed it on a shelf, and walked away. I mean, what's the use of having a light, moveable safe? It's okay. 3 stars hotel experience.
Was told that the hotel doesn’t provide iron and ironing board and guests can use their ironing service for a fee of course instead. Reminds me of some budget hotel stay instead of any other normal 4 stars hotels.
The cleanliness was abysmal, honestly showering in public would be a better choice. I could not walk around inside there barefooted. The shower floor was slimy, with mould growing on the walls. It was unacceptable for being rated as a 4 star hotel.
Service was good though. Everyone seems eager to please. Breakfast was good. Location is excellent as it's connected to a mall.
Amenities wise just needs more sprucing up. Alright stay but for the price, there are other alternatives that can provide better.

CCristineThe room we stay in is so dirty. We arrived at 10:00 PM because we took road trip. After 14 hours drive, we expected the room will.be nice. At least clean and comfortable to stay in. But what we found? It seems like the room never got cleaned for a long time. Under the bed, there was empty mineral bottle and a used spoon. Also a drawing sheet , probably from the guess who stayed before us.
Dust are everywhere under the bedside table. When we moved the bed a little bit, dust are so thick under the bed, together with the empty mineral water bottle and used spoon.
I reported this disappointment to the reception, and they said all rooms are occupied. Only a house keeper came to help sweep the dirty floor and mopped it.
What a bad experience with a 4* hotel.
Btw i was late to take a photo of all the trash in the room. Too tired 😩
The next day, the hotel manager handled this case and apologize. He allows late check out as compensation and sent fruit platters to our room.

Mmrs.mashStaying at Regents Hotel Malang was both comfortable and incredibly convenient, especially for my planned visit to Mount Bromo. The hotel’s location made it an ideal base, putting me within easy reach of the mountain for an early start on the sunrise tour.
The lobby and general atmosphere of the hotel had a welcoming warmth, blending modern comforts with traditional Javanese decor. My room was spacious and well-equipped, with a window view that overlooked beautiful gardens, offering a peaceful spot to relax after a day of exploring.
The hotel restaurant was another highlight, featuring a diverse breakfast buffet that ranged from freshly baked pastries to local specialties. This made it easy to grab a filling meal before heading out for a day of adventure. The hotel staff were helpful as well, providing tips on the best routes to Bromo and even assisting with transportation options.
Overall, Regents Hotel Malang offered a convenient and comfortable stay, making it easy to explore Bromo and enjoy the beauty of Malang!

SSyafiqah JasniWhile i agree that the location is OK, near to Malang Station. It's not spacious even for two people. Not recommended for more than 1 because it's not spacious for travellers. Also, when i asked for Iron + board, the hotel says they don't provide it. if you want , they have service for that and you must paid for it. so much for 3 or 4 stars hotel.

IIfah NBooked the hotel at last minute as we have not booked any accomodation in Malang. This hotel is good with its location in the city and few minutes away from the tol exit/ entrance. Busy roadside but as the hotels/ buildings around were not high-rised, we got 7th floor there was hardly any traffic noise that made the way up to our rooms. Got the connecting rooms as requested. Rooms & toilets were cleaned. Bed and pillows are comfy. Glad that we made the right choice for our stay in Malang.

GGuest UserPlesantly surprised by this hotel. Location is perfect with lots of cafes and eateries within walking distance. Room is big with 2 queen beds, perfect for the family. City view is nice, and the balcony is a plus point. The only setback is that the pipe for the toilet bowl leaks and there is a constant pool of water there, which could also be slippery and is dangerous. Maintenance could be improved.

TTravelingwithabackpackThe hotel is nice, it is a good location to go to mount bromo, ijen and taking a trip to the waterfalls. There are no shops nearby unfortunately, so had to use grab and Gojek.
The room was a little dirty, but it’s ok. The bed is reallly comfortable and also have an English movie channel on the tv.
Staff are super friendly and I would stay here again.
