Aparthotel Adagio Paris Malakoff Chatillon

We got a good deal to stay here for 4 nights in a self catering apartment with BA. I had read the reviews and most were really good. I cannot fault our experience at all, it was a great hotel! The room and bathroom was a great size, bed was super comfy and shower was good too. We were far away from the elevator and thankfully was not disturbed at all during our stay. The only downside to this was the walk into central Paris, it took us over an hour each time. Unfortunately we had to book and pay for many Ubers as we didn’t feel it would be safe to walk all that way at night either.

First of all, the hotel is in a beautiful suburban location 20min away from Paris center and 40min from Versailles. The room was okay, warm, nothing wow but comfy. But the most remarkable thing of this hotel is the great staff. We really felt welcome. We have a situation with our bed and immediately was resolved. Also when I asked for a market at midnight cause I really needed chocolate but sadly everything in the neighbourhood was already closed, the guy from reception trusted me his metro card to use the bending machine of the subway.

Hotel just in the outskirts of Paris... On metro line 4, close to Porte de Versailles and with a private car park. Breakfast overlooking the garden will get your day off to a great start. The hotel has recently been renovated with a design that is both contemporary, enlightening and energizing. The rooms are quite small, but got everything you need. Breakfast is great, choice for everybody. Price/quality wise a good choice when your off to visit the city for the biggest part of the day.

Small rooms, furnished in a miserable and old manner. Our room (No. 31) had even the brushed shower support (so we had to do our shower with one hand because the other was needed to keep the shower!), there was no stick to support the bottle. shampoo or soap during the shower, not to mention towels (one quite small towel, about 70x100cm to serve as towels for the face and towel), Blind bath without even the strap of a air exchange aspirator, a mattress that seemed to sleep on a water mattress as ”deep”), a cup and poorly illuminated reception and ”old smell” n all the structure. A true disappointment ... The wi-fi of the hotel that, at the third floor, went when it wanted ... Ah, I forgot. With no lift and with faster scale. NOT more in that hotel.

We visited Paris for our honeymoon and within 10 minutes of being in this “hotel” we had booked a flight back home because of how unsafe we felt. There was gangs taking drugs outside of the “hotel”. the “hotel” it’s self is old dated and dirty. The room it’s self is vile. The mattresses are thin and sat on a plank of thin wood. The people within the hotel seem to live there and the background of these people seem to be a concern. There was a single thin pillow. The bathroom dates and dirty. The feeling myself and my husband got made us feel so unsafe we didn’t wish to remain in there any longer or even leave our belongings in there. I sat and cried until we left the property and the thought of walking back through to leave give me high anxiety. On leaving the staff couldn’t care that we were leaving and just opened the door. I can’t put into words how we felt here but the fact we were happy to pay £500 to return home after being in this hotel for 10 minutes should say enough. they now refuse to pay us a full refund because we “stayed” for one night.

The hotel is very pleasant in its entirety. No noise can be seen. Spacious and functional room. The small plus: a balcony on one side and a large terrace on the other. The staff on the site is laughing and careful of our comfort. It's really a nice place
