A very cozy boutique hotel not too far from the beach, although not right on it. Several room in the front on the upper floors would have sea view, but mine looked at roofs and palms, not too bad. There was a table and a chair on the balcony, so one could still sit outside in the open. The bathroom was clean, the bed had a most comfortable mattress. The room also had a fridge / minibar. Wifi worked very well. The breakfast was not a meagre“continental” option, but a typical Spanish/French variety with jamon and cheese and all sorts of pastries and jams in addition to several varieties of more usual cereal and eggs and bacon and ham. Juices and milk and teas and cocoa and coffee were there as well. Not a great selection of fruits – hard apples and kiwis were usually on offer. Just bear in mind that this hotel had the latest breakfast start that I had ever had – 7:30 in the morning, weekdays and weekends, and it wouldn’t open not even five minutes earlier. Very helpful and welcoming people at the front desk who don’t mind one’s broken Spanish, tolerate it and allow one to practise the language. The only thing that caused inconvenience was that smell of breakfast being prepared that went up the ventilation shaft (I presume, since I was on the third floor) as early as 7 in the morning.
