This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Special thanks to Hotel Manager Mr Zahier, and other staff Mr. Syahmi, Mr. Aliff, and Ms. Alia, whose exceptional service made our stay even more memorable. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor truly stood out.
A unique feature of the hotel is their dedicated WhatsApp number for guests, which constantly checks on your stay experience. This level of attentiveness is commendable. ### Review of Hotel Majestic Malacca
I recently stayed at Hotel Majestic Malacca and had a mixed experience. The room was very clean, and I enjoyed a nice bathtub experience, which was a highlight. However, the soundproofing in the room was lacking; I could hear conversations from the next room until midnight, so it might be helpful to request a quiet, non-smoking room when booking.
Additionally, there was a noticeable smoking smell coming from next door, and the pillow had an unpleasant odor. I found the mattress to be too soft for my preference, which affected my comfort.
The room featured a coffee machine, and I appreciated that I could request additional capsules. I also liked the eco-friendly touch of using glass bottles for drinking water. However, be aware that items like cup noodles and drinks in the fridge are chargeable.
Breakfast offered an à la carte menu that was just average—acceptable but nothing special. I didn't have time to explore the gym or swimming pool, as my days were filled with walking around Malacca city.
The toilet amenities, however, did not meet my expectations considering the room price. I think they could benefit from using a better-smelling shower gel and shampoo.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly and provided good service throughout my stay. There is parking available behind the building, but as a woman returning late, I appreciated being able to park in front of the hotel for safety.
Overall, while there were several drawbacks, the cleanliness and service made for a decent stay.

This hotel not really located at the heart of Kota Melaka but its view is very mesmerizing next to Sungai Melaka. From my room at 17th, could see almost whole Melaka township. The most fascinating is the view of Kampung Morten and the fantastic led color along the river. Also it is only walking distance to the river walk and there's pedestrian bridge cross to Kampung Morten.
In term of service, we were quite devastated amid no one greet us upon reaching to the lobby entrance. I have to pull luggage trolley by myself. Upon check in, again it came to my surprise as I was told that my room yet to ready amid 5pm. Things changed when the young lady (guess an intern or newly hired) manage to get things done. The 'bell boy' eventually was another young lady. We felt sorry and empathy that supposedly as a man I should have pull the luggage trolley.
I guess majority of hotel staffs were ladies including in dining service. Oh not to mention this hotel provide RM10 F&B credit per day.
Overall breakfast is fine although not many choices. Swimming pool is huge and have a great view. We can see sunset from here.
Our room quite huge as compare to other hotels that we have been go. Complete with dining table, kitchen cabinet and kitchen sink. Ample space to perform solah. It just a matter we dislike room with tiles or room without carpet. It could be freezing and annoying.
Overall we would rate 4/5

Mixed Experience on My Third Stay
This was my third visit to this hotel. The room itself is spacious and comfortable, which I really appreciate. However, I encountered a few issues during my stay. The water heater wasn’t working initially, but they did send a technician promptly to fix it.
One of my concerns was with the housekeeping service. When I requested for the room to be made up, I noticed that they reused the old bed sheets and blanket rather than providing fresh ones, which was disappointing.
Additionally, the service at the reception could be improved. Unlike other hotels where the staff are warm and welcoming, the reception here felt somewhat unfriendly and less attentive to guests’ needs.
Overall, it’s a decent hotel with good rooms, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of service quality.

- The room cleanliness was average.
- There are an iron and ironing board.
- The bathroom was clean, but the shower section is narrow & somehow wrongly designed.
- I wore room slippers as the floor was not sufficiently clean.
- The hotel is right next to Dataran Pahlawan Mega Mall, which is a plus point to me.
- The hotel car park is in a different building adjacent to the hotel. It's somewhat limited, so I parked my car & did not drive out during my stay. The best options would be to walk or take Grab cars.
- To buy Malacca snacks & souvenirs, I went to Ole Ole Melaka at Pahlawan Walk Market, which is about 750 metres away. The outlet is a one stop shop, the sales staff are not pushy and friendly, highly recommended to go there.
- For lunch, I went to Asam Pedas Selera Kampung (right next to Pahlawan Walk Market). It's a very popular restaurant, and I was spoilt with dish choices.

We had a good stay. The price is reasonable with the service we received. At first we were given a room with Kerosene smell, but the hotel changed the room instantly after I reported it. In the new room, the TV was not function, they came and changed it right away. Breakfast was delicious. Pool was average, no towel provided so bring your towel along. Parking is on Level 7 and 8. Quite closed to Jonker Walk, 15 minutes walk.

The hotel service is super nice and maybe on the weekend it's quiet A lot of people check in and need to queue.
My room is really comfortable and the deluxe king room can enjoy two TVs which we can enjoy separately from watching drama.
This hotel has a splash swimming pool and kids pool.
Those who like to relax can enjoy their sauna room and steaming room too, The toilet has a locker so you can put your personal belongings inside.
Other than that, the gym room needs to pass by the swimming pool and walk down only to reach the gym room.
The location is super convenient it's just beside the hatten square, dataran Pahlawan mall, red house walkable and night market. You may also walk to the ship museum .
Overall good and definitely will stay again if the price is still affordable.

The hotel was much bigger than we had anticipated. It is a really beautiful place, hidden away in the nice city of Melaka. The lobby is beautifully designed, but freezing and the whole hotel seemed drenched in some kind of perfume, which made me a bit dizzy. Our room had the weirdest smell- but I think it was intentional...as though they had made it smell like that on purpose...like mouldy hay. The room was really pretty and the little patio is a nice touch. We informed the desk that we's be checking out at 12:50. but still, the same concierge called us at 12:00, waiting impatiently for us to check out. We were also hardly ever greeted upon entering the hotel. Weird. Once everything is done, I'm sure it will be a nice place. I wish the plants were real. They are all plastic and it shows, unfortunately. The location is perfect, just around the corner from China Town and Junkers Walk. I think it's a decent place to stay for a night or two.

GGuest UserBooked via Trip.Com, I did not know the room was a family suite which was actually a heritage house opposite to the main hotel block. Interesting to have a nostalgic experience to stay in an traditional house but might be a little too quiet for solo travellers. Need to climb the stairs as the bed and the washroom/pantry are on different floors. Staff was friendly and the house was spotless clean. Another plus is the strong air con in the house against the crazy heat in Malacca.
GGuest UserThe hotel from the exterior looked really grand. The room was quite big in size and the hotel reception staff were nice enough. We (husband, two teenage children and I) arrived an hour early and were directed to the note that they didn’t have early check-ins. The doorman was nice and gave us an umbrella as it was raining when we were going out. However, the bathroom was not very clean with rotting shower screen because of most likely poor cleaning. The towels in the bathroom were supposed to be white but were brown in colour and stained. Unfortunately, we had to use these as there was no other option, felt unclean after shower. The corridor had a musty odour which was overpowering. Stayed two nights and had put up a door sign to have the room cleaned but no one came around and we were out all day. Bottled water was given on the first day but not on the subsequent day. I’m glad we only stayed two nights as couldn’t have tolerated the place for any longer.
UUncle JasonI stay one night with my family, and to be honest when i walk into lobby, it’s surprised me. (Reception a bit slow, only 2 person serve 9-10 people) but they served welcome drinks and there are a counter sell baverage.
Hotel room, it is beyond my expectations. Almost like a 5 stars hotel. Clean and everything new. Comfortable bed. And TV with many channels.
Swimming pool, my kids love it. Have a slide and big bucket splash. Is good for a family stay.
Location: it is walking distance to majority attractions such as Red house, Jonker walk.
Will definitely come back again.
CCAROLINE MARY LAIWow, this hotel is really clean. I love clean hotel. Thank you Asiatic Hotel : housekeeping team for keeping the rooms so clean. I love this hotel and definitely will come back again to stay in this hotel. I love their design of their rooms too. Very comfortable and have lot of places to put our things in organised way. They have a small fridge in the hotel. Most importantly, lot of foods and restaurants nearby. They have a cafe and 711 next door so convenient and superb. Thank you Asiatic Hotel for your hospitality and definitely will come back again to stay in this hotel.
GGuest UserThe best hotel you can find in melaka.. Seriously worth every penny.. Polite and very helpful staff.. The ambience was awesome.. The hotel is sooo beautiful for real.. Ive plan a suprise birthday suprise for my husband.. And Miss Dilla was very kind she make sure i had everything that i wanted.. The room was beautiful very comfy.. The vibe was amazing.. I just love it here... And not forgetting the yummy breakfast.. Ahhh.. What else i can ask for.. Everything was perfect😍😍
RRANETStaying at Executive Suite Level 2 for trio. Worth it for 3 star hotel & value for money. Clean. Love the sweet scent at its walkaway to the room, carpeted & airconditioned. Everything was at top notch. My only concern was less variety of foods for breakfast. Hope the management could upgrade the selection of foods to be more attractive. Of course would come again next time!
SSayali SantI would like to visit again here... Location wise it's really close to every tourist spot. The only thing was about parking and breakfast which was in a different location (nearby but a lil confusing)
AAmanda HiewThis is my second time back at this hotel. The first time was more than 5 years ago. I will definitely return here again cause of the location; it is on Jonker Walk and superbly convenient to get around in this area. The only problem is if you drive, you will need to walk at least 5 mins from the parking lots nearby. And if you are lucky to get the public roadside parking spots, will definitely be cheaper to pay than the privately owned lots.
MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiI recently had the pleasure of staying at OYO 90899 Tube Hotel Melaka and the experience surpassed all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a truly memorable stay.
The check-in process was seamless, with the staff demonstrating exceptional hospitality and efficiency. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was evident, from the elegant lobby adorned with tasteful decorations to the well-appointed rooms that exuded both comfort and style.
Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center boasted state-of-the-art equipment, and the spa provided a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
Dining was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. The chefs' commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish. The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering a wide array of options to suit every palate.
The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Requests were handled promptly and with a genuine smile, adding a personal touch that made me feel like a valued guest.
The location of the hotel was also ideal, situated in close proximity to popular attractions, dining options, and shopping districts. Whether I was exploring the city or simply strolling through the nearby parks, everything was conveniently within reach.
In conclusion, my stay at [Hotel Name] was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, top-notch amenities, and outstanding service created a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a refined and indulgent getaway. I look forward to returning to [Hotel Name] in the future for another unforgettable stay.
