Makarem Mina Hotel

Well let me start with some good points. Its a good location food and bus station is near and easily available. Their rooms are big enough to stay and toilets are fine as well. Here are some bad reviews 1: in my booking breakfast was mentioned but they didn't gave. 2: room service for cleaning is really hard to get and my brother actually ask them to come multiple time and then after an argument i got it. 3: no toothbrush or toothpaste was provided. 4: windows are fixed and locked so you cant get fresh air incase you needed. 5: They only have side lamps no roof light which is sometimes really irritating

A decent hotel. Just that the lights in the room are quite dim. The toilets are functional and good.

The worst and pathetic hotel to stay in Mecca! Rooms might look nice in picture but there is absolutely no room service. We are currently staying in room 127 and 248 and booked for 5 days. In 5 days, we got room service only ONCE after begging and fighting with them at reception. Housekeeping/reception doesn’t pick calls from room as well. Firstly, I requested 3 months before at the time of booking to provide rooms next to each other as I was traveling with family, they didn’t bother about my request at time of check-in. THERE IS NO ROOM SERVICE. NO DAILY CLEANING. NO BATH TOWELS. NO LAUNDRY SERVICE. They simply say that we are understaffed so cannot provide room service daily and we don’t have big towels. Had to go outside hotel for getting my laundry done. I would never recommend staying here with family. Had to beg them 20 times to provide bath towels as I had to leave for Umrah but they don’t give a damn about customers. They claim that they provide shuttle service from Haram to Hotel but its impossible to find their bus in parking lot of Haram. Internet is just PATHETIC in hotel. If you don’t have own internet on sim, you’ll stay disconnected from the world. Claiming to be 4 star but hotel has worst service like a 1 star hotel. Coming to a dirty hotel room after a whole day at Masjid al Haram was the most disgusting experience ever. Shame on you, management of Makarem Mina!

Below average in every aspect. Appreciate it was ramadhan! We booked for 11 nights after night two our towels disappeared and requesting them every day from then on went avail. The reply was “after Magrib” that never happened then night before Eid said there will be there by 7am when Eid prayers were at 6.30! Reception staff especially the men were ignorant, constantly on the phone, not listening at all. For the price charged especially due to ramadhan it was totally unacceptable

It was nice place but not good service I was there for 9 nights I didn’t have a tower or changing my beds very very poor service even I told them twice I need a towel they they were ignoring me!!

Transportation was very bad and also I stayed for 7 days and my room was not cleaned even once.the bus from the hotel to haraam is on time but coming back will be a wait for more than 2 hours!

When we checked in the bed sheets was dirty , there was blood everywhere on the mattress and the sheets and we found a lot of insects in the room and the bathroom. The phone number for the hotel isn’t working. I have tried to contact them for over 2 days now but the phone number that is written on the hotel card are wrong. So I can’t get in contact with them.

Great place to stay if you cannot afford hotels near the Haram. Only issue from my side is not having fan or vent in the toilet
